A well known J-pop singer

She's well known among anime fans and Japanophiles.

But you don't need to know who she is in order to enjoy the video.

J-pop is far better than "regular pop" when the Japanese actually implement unique techniques and music (thinking along the lines of I've and KOTOKO, etc.)...J-pop falls flat when singers like Hamasaki try to emulate American pop, which completely destroys the reason why I listen to J-pop in the first place!

But considering how popular American pop is in Japan, it also makes perfect sense.

Tape a mike to the Wiimote and you can say the same about J-pop.

But but... I LIKE Ayumi Hamasaki! She took my J-Pop virginity back in 2001 and I'll never forget that... no matter what the future brings!

Besides, if you want to see a COMPLETE TRAVESTY, look no further than Koda Kumi. *shudders* Please god NO.

A glooming peace this morning with it brings;
The sun, for sorrow, will not show his head:
Go hence, to have more talk of these sad things;
Some shall be pardon'd, and some punished:
For never was a story of more woe
Than this of Sega and her Mashiro.

This video does a good job demonstrating the limitations of the wii. You'll note that she went through most of the motions correctly, but failed almost every challenge requiring the pointer because she pointed outside the sensor bar's limited range.

And Indian pop is far better than J-pop.

Japanese pop thu 90s was always a clone of 80 american/uk pop
its always been horrid

[One of my gripes about Wario Ware]  And the reson she fails at half of the games is because of the exact reliance on the sensor bar for a lot of the games.  (ex:  Why does the tennis game need it?)

I agree, although I wouldn't place it all on the Wii's fault. There are other games that are sensor bar heavy and work fine, yet I've heard many stories about some of the games in Wario ware not working because of pointer issues.

I haven't played it myself, but I will borrow it from S_B soon. I'll let you know what I think of of it.

Apropos Rampage, they should make a Redneck Rampage for the Wii.

I have 0 sensor bar troubles in WarioWare, probably the only game that i've had trouble on that I'm not sure if it even uses the sensor bar is the shredding mini game.
