I don't know if this has been covered but there is a cat when you are loading the news channel click on it and it tells you a few "secrets" about the channel, but it also seems there is a simular cat in the Photo Channel that does the same thing. (At least that what the cat told me today.) It also changes the loading bar into a bar with cats.

I think this was covered on the Wii easter eggs and extras feature on NWR. I think the official thread is still kicking around the discussion forums.

Hold A and move the cursor over the cats bar to make random sounds.

Plus when you do this, the cats' mouths open and close with each meow.
