Perfect batteries for your Wii

You can buy two USB AA batteries for 20 bucks
A little expensive but the really cool thing is, you recharge them by popping off the top of the battery and plugging them into any USB port.

How cool would that be to plug your two batteries into the back of your Wii to recharge?

Pretty cool actually. I'm not dropping twenty greenbacks for two batteries though. Unless my electric ass scratcher batteries go dead and I'm jonesing so bad I wind up getting taken at the local Costco by a hostile clerk who fancies making devasting financial deals on his counterstock whenever he sees a man walk into his place of work and demand AAs for his electric ass scratching device.

A scenario which I've been a part of all too many times let me tell you dear sir.

You live a life full of bravado and whimsy, Rancid.

Those are pretty cool. I think i'll just stick to Nimh batteries or get one of those rechargable battery packs with docking station when they come out.

These are indeed cool, but they are only rated to 1300...whatevers that measurement is, which is well below a rechargeable you can get that doesn't have the nifty USB attachment, as well as cost over twice as much.  I think you can get 16 2400+ batteries for half the price if you check batteryspace.com and such.

Still very, very cool.  And if they ever had a sale I'd prolly pick a few up.

No reason why they shouldn't.  The USB ports appear to be doing a fine job of charging other things, like Unclebob's DS.

4-pack of 2500 mAh Rayovac rechargeables here.

My first charged pair lasted me 20 something hours of Zelda (and a few hours in other games plus a 6 hour Xmas Wii Sports session with relatives).

I began charging the 2nd pair after seeing my remote was at 2 energy bars on the Home screen.

By the next day, my first pair had run out, and my 2nd pair was ready to go.  So that's my rule.  2 bars?  Time to recharge the next pair.

I've been sitting on 1 bar for the last 3 hours on my Rayovacs and it hasn't died yet.  I have another Wiimote so I'll switch to it.  I just wonder how long until there dry.
