You can expect a certain level of hostility toward anything anti-Nintendo by some of the more sheep-like Nintendo fans, and while the video is slightly anti-Nintendo (it mocks the existing Wii ads), I'm not sure that's what you're seeing here.

I'm afraid I never paid much attention to his ideas, actually.

It wasn't anything personal, but I've seen so many Wii idea threads and posts that my eyes glaze over when I see them now.

I meant the way it parodied, like the slow motion sections taken from the original Wii ads.

I thought it was hilarious, but I've no answers regarding why someone would be hostile toward the thread when similar ones have had no issues.

There are tons of Mac/PC parody ads out there, most just seem all in good fun. This seems like the same sorta thing, yeah.

I remember making a comic for my website in which I parodied the Nintendo DS by creating failed game ideas such as "Pants puller generation", "Tickle me Elmo DS", "Voodoo DS" and "Eye poker".

Even if the intention WAS to insult the Wii I thought the humor was great. Come on, even the Wii lovers must've thought of ideas like these.

I didn't find it insulting at all, and I adore the Wii, but I'm thinking she found something about the video...off-putting.

And "Pants Puller Generation" would rule...
