BTW - I've been using a 2-button mouse since MacOS 9.
I've been using a 5-button mouse for the better part of this millennium.  Does OSX support those yet?  (Note:  this is a serious question; chances are good that I’ll be purchasing an iBook sometime within the next year.)
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Yes but multiple buttons are an upgrade. The standard mouse is designed so your mother stops asking "left or right?" when you tell her to click.

The "standard mouse" (which ships with all new Macs) has left & right clickabilty. Let's be honest here: anything more than 2 buttons and a scroll wheel would be an upgrade for Windows, too.
