What Nintendo magazines do you lot have in your respective countries?

Here in the UK we had, up until recently, 3 magazines - 1 official and two (better, IMO) unofficial.

N.O.M - Nintendo Official Magazine

CUBE - now deceased

N.G.C - temporarily stoppped and soon to be re-launched, in July, as NGamer.

What you got guys, and which do you like? Do you even bother with mags now we're all on superfast connections?

Or do you, like me, prefer to have the solid, reassuring glossy paper in your hands?

I prefer online, but magazines are still fun.  I find reading on the computer kind of straining compared to paper.

I don't know of any Nintendo-only magazines in North America other than Nintendo Power, the official one.   Nintendo Power has improved a bit in the last year or so, it seems a bit more "mature", and it doesn't waste half of it's space on strategies anymore (which I loved as a kid, but now I realize that I'd rather play the game on my own.)  However, it's still obvious that NP is there to sell Nintendo products.  In particular, the Nintendo Power crew is way too kind to the Sonic games, and some of the articles are thinly-veiled advertisements.

Nintendo Power sucks at selling Nintendo products cuz they don't includ DVDs with trailers and screenshots that look much better than the ones in the magazine and on their stupid website.

CUBE mag was good because of the free mini dvd's, they also published a aussie version, which was just copy and pasted with reviews/previews but a few different articals and no dvd's

Yeah, NP did improve over the last year or so... I agree with couchmonkey's overall assessment.

Anyone remember that one unofficial Nintendo magazine that only lasted one issue!?

As for multiplatform mags, I like EGM the best.  Oh, how I miss my Gamefan though...  *sob*

NP should include DVDs, absolutely.  I liked the one they had last year.

I think they would do well to have more exclusive screenshots and art.  I mean, it's the official magazine, you'd think they could get some stuff that isn't already available on every single website.  I also kind of miss the more homey "club" atmosphere it had back in the first couple of years, with goofy illustrations and such, but maybe that's just nostalgia talking.

I used to read EGM and Gamepro once in a while, but I quit when the Internet was invented.  I just wanted to know what was going on outside the world of Nintendo, but now I can find out online for free.
