Considering that I think EA screws up practically EVERY game they ever make I assure you they could make it suck.  They can make anything suck.  Their whole mission statement is based on making dumb-downed generic entertainment which by its very nature sucks.  The very design of the Rev in theory is to stamp out the sort of generic forget-it-exists-six-months-later dribble EA has built an empire out of.

And like IceCold mentioned EA would design Fight Night for the PS3 and then port it and thus not make good use of the motion control.

Well maybe, but I think you have less faith in them then I do, that's all....

Honestly, I don't know who wouldn't pick up Fight Night REV if they made it even remotely good. Simply having control of a character's arms would be fun; not to mention beating the living sh!t out of your opponent.

EA could very well, by themselves, bring gamers flocking from other systems. I know for a fact that most casual gamers in the U.S. have either a PS2 or Xbox simply for sports. I'm not sure how you can make Madden any more intuitive, but I have some ideas. Even so, Tennis, Golf, Baseball, Racing, and Boxing could become potential hits that are only realized on the REV. EA can make alot of money here, even if a very small margain of the population buys a REV. I mean look at the Dreamcast.....how many people bought Round something or other with Afro Thunder?

If they [ut the time and effort into it, they will reap benefits. Thus, that is what I place my faith on....

Actually, come to think of it, I wish Sega would throw in some sports games. I remember Virtua Tennis becoming my favortie sports game for a good while.

Beach Spikers is my favorite non-Mario sports game.

I wish BS(lol) gets a Rev sequel and Daisy's a playable character I can dress up and ACHIEVE ABSOLUTE VICTORY WITH.

EA just sucks hard all around. One game that could work out well from EA would be The Sims. But knowing EA, they're likely to port the game without using the NRC features... When the game would work great using them.
