From what little I played of the English version, I totally agree with Ben here.  The Drill Dozer (the English name for the machine) is fun to control and the level design is pretty good.  Frankly, everything about this game screams classic Wario Land, from wall smashing and enemy ramming to backtracking for treasures.  If you loved Wario Land 1, 2, or 3, you'll love this one, too.

I love Wario Land, so I guess this is yet another game to add to the list...
