Alot of gamers are reaching college age...guess  what surrounds every  state university...like 30 wifi networks. I turned on  my girlfriends laptop and  there was like so many networks to  connect to. I dont even need my own router to play whever revolution comes out.

Actually, at the university here, nearly all are secured. I believe only a handful were open, but I won't use them anyway, so w/e

yeah alot are secured, i would say around 3 out of every 8 are unsecured though. Also in the union theres a network anyone can access.

Yeah, my school has a handful of unsecure student run wi-fi spots. It's kinda funny. Mine only allows me and my computers. The library has the "anyone can link" network.

I'm using one of those student-run, non-secured networks right now...signals not great though, I'm gonna get my roommates to give each $5 toward a router.

I can't wait to test out my DS on University grounds too, I've seen several people web-surf with their laptops and hopefully I won't have any difficulty in playing any online game with my DS, specially when waiting for a class, test, exam to start . I wonder if the subway here in Toronto has wi-fi access on all it's stops and in-between.

My university's WiFi is unsecured but it has a special login page where you need to sign in, in order to access internet.

same here at UGA; we can connect to wifi points, but need to log in... still, when nintendo releases the USB adapter I'll just log in from my laptop and then viola! touch wifi

I'm going to get a router for home, probably (my parents want one anyway), but I'm hoping I'll be able to play online using the server here.
