Torus Games announces an all new GBA motorcycle game, yet they need a publisher.

Torus Takes 3-D Gaming to a new level on the Game Boy® Advance

The team from Torus Games, responsible for producing the world's best First Person Shooter engine for Nintendo Game Boy® Advance, is now bending its amazing talents towards producing a world first - a fast, powerful 3-D engine for the handheld console.

The 3-D system incorporates voxels (volumetric pixels) and allows full 3-D exterior environments. This allows players to break away from predefined paths and explore any part of the environment they wish! Rolling hills, sloping roads, dangerous cliffs - they're all there for the player to discover.

What it spells to players is freedom. What it spells to the industry is an opportunity for new realism and fun in games!

Moto-X - The engine's first application: Moto-X, a motocross racing game, is Torus' first application of the powerful engine, incorporating loads of motorcycle tricks, checkpoint racing, and free-roaming terrain. Over hills of snow, mud, dirt and rocks, the player races against computer and human opponents (via Game Boy Advance Game Link cable) in a variety of tournaments. With money earned from winning races and performing tricks, the player upgrades bikes and gear to improve performance and speed. Moto-X is a fast-paced racing challenge - without limits!

Potential applications:

Vehicle racing: motorbikes, cars, monster trucks, dune buggies;

Helicopter combat, flight simulation.

Golf: rolling hills, sheer traps;

Snowboarding, skiing, extreme sports.

First Person Action or RPG Games set in outdoor environments.

Technical Information:

Real-time, 3-D landscape rendering.

An incredible frame rate of 20 frames per second!

Vertical textures, perfect for detailed realism

A completely free-roaming environment - go anywhere!

Static light mapping, applied from imported light maps.

Multiplayer Mode, with simultaneous, linked play for up to 4 players.

Additional Information: Torus is seeking a publishing partner to market and distribute Moto-X. For further information please contact Michael Solomons at Torus Games.
