actually tablet pc's have been around for a few years, and with the big gaming boom over the last decade years it only makes sense to make one of these tablet pc's game-centric eventually.  There is big money in gaming and no tablet pc is aimed specifically in the direction yet, so what better way to get noticed and expand a pretty small market than to aim yourself at a new demographic?

i looked around their site to try and figure out when they implemented the track ball/ face button combo, but couldn't find it.  my inspirations for the idea were the ipod and the cube controller.  at least they didn't think to use the wheel function with the face buttons.  i don't like how big it is, but the thing can play present pc games like doom 3 which means the cube can't be that hard to make into a portable.  i like that they are using scroll wheels on both the shoulder buttons, but i have my own idea for the next gen trigger and how it should combine both the scroll wheel and the analog trigger that i don't want to show.

i can't believe they even deemed their design Revolutionary.  reminds me of whitefusion.com.  nintendo may not be the only one trying to make their controller worthy of the name next generation.

Nemo: You're forgetting that portable PCs have completely different ranges for price and battery life, a system that costs 1200USD and runs three hours would be perfectly normal by these standards. Try selling a handheld like that.
