These kinds of forums are set up so that your title is a "rank" that increases depending on how many times you post (with a few extra special titles like "Moderator", "Staff Writer" or "VIP").

PGC doesn't think that people making a bunch of pointless posts just so that their "rank" goes up is a good thing, so they chopped it down to only having one rank, being a "PGC Forum User".

The mods can manually change people's titles, so they're doing us a favor by giving us modified titles. That's probably the best we're gonna get, unless PGC makes some large-scale changes to the way the boards work.
