You know, I was thinking, how funny would it be if they put Sakurai's face on the bills for coin mode...and then I actually took a closer look at the picture.... tell me

The simple machines forum logo is not NEARLY good enough for them to be plastering it all over the place like that.

If you guys can get rid of that ugly thing and all its instances, we will all be grateful, I'm sure.

And that's all I have to say about that.

Happy Birthday

I'm not sure if this is happening for anyone else, but recently, every time I visit the front page of the site (not forum), after a few seconds I get a message saying "Warning: Unresponsive script" and I have the option to "stop script" or "continue". If anything, my guess is that the side ad bar is a little screwy, being that that's the only thing that doesn't load when I choose "stop script".

FYI, I'm using Firefox (latest version I think)

Speaking of Final Smashes, I'm just really bummed about Toon Link having the same one as Link. I was really looking forward to a wind waker FS. I was thinking he could stop, take out the wind waker, and using the control stick, you could direct a really strong wind in any directions for a few seconds. Think the Whispy Woods tree in the kirby stage but with more force so that even running at full speed wouldn't guarantee survival.

Its a shame because we all know we'll be playing this game for generations to come, and no matter what anyone says, it will be epic. But it stinks that the game is being overshadowed by an ongoing theme of lost potential. Its kinda like all of the deep, meticulous, insanely unexpected features in the game are just jaw dropping, but they forgot to embellish on the small, easy things.

Then again, NONE OF US HAVE PLAYED THE GAME! which is why I will say nothing more on the matter until I can experience everything for myself. Time to get back to counting down the seconds until one of my most anticipated games of all time comes out! By the way, I called my Gamestop recently, and mine will in fact be having a midnight sale. Hope the same goes for you.

Oh and heres a present: Countdown to Brawl

Sorry to hear about the computer problems :P Maybe you can get the trial versions of photoshop and illustrator from adobe site in the meantime.

Heres where I got the Link image:

and heres where they have all the other Zelda artwork:

Ya know, yesterday when I saw "Gourmet Race" as a song for Kirby's stage, I was just like HOW MUCH MORE CAN THEY MILK OUTTA THIS SAME DAMN SONG!?.............and then I saw, well...listened to this video...

I am happy

What I really want now is the willpower to stay off the internet until the game is released, at least have a blackout for anything related to Smash, isn't there a support group somewhere? it seems so impossible

I know what you mean. I set out from the start that I was going to avoid all spoilers etc but I recently realized that it wouldn't be a good idea. Think about it, if you wait until the game comes out to see all the features, characters etc, you would only be hyping it up like crazy. If the game comes out and you are the least bit underwhelmed, you'll kick yourself for waiting and building it up so least thats what I figure.

Nice find. But jeez, still no Gameboy?

I think its time Nintendo added original Gameboy games to the VC then. I would totally get the original pokemon or warioland games

Oh god, gotta love Sonic with the "YOU'RE TOOO SLOOOWW!!" taunt. I'm gonna be spamming that like crazy

Oh also I like Link's new older voice. Actually its just nice to see that the Melee voices aren't all being dumped on Brawl. They just better make sure they actually have Luigi's nasal voice this time instead of a slightly higher pitched Mario like Melee had.

Nice update. Now what I would really flip over is if I tried to jump in a particular spot and this happened...

And while I'm taking pics, not to worry Bill. Its the next set of those blocks that has the gap, not the one in the dojo pic (at least thats the one I think you're talking about)

Hey, first I just wanna say I love the wallpapers! Keep em comin! I got my hands on a nice hi-res picture of Link today and I thought I'd put it to good use, so heres my wallpaper contribution. It's pretty much my hopeful lineup of team zelda characters. Enjoy!

Yea that move set would definitely make sense for her. I guess I forgot about all the different uses of the staff. My big problem I guess is that I feel like there was zero amount of development put into her character and from a very non memorable, mediocre game. I just don't see the appeal. But from what it sounds like, I am the minority in this case so I'll shut up about it for now.....until she shows up on the dojo...and oh god you won't want to see me then...

I don't know...I'm having an extremely hard time understanding why so many people like Krystal. I can't figure it out for the life of me! Like, alot of people talked about Lucario and I didn't understand what the big deal was, but I tried to like him and looked up info and youtube videos about him and now I can say that he would make a decent fighter.

But Krystal....I just don't get it. Is there some awesome game she was in that I somehow overlooked or something? From what I know, its been Dinosaur Planet, Assault, and Command. I played all of them and she never stood out as anything be honest, she she just felt like an irritating character that Rare pulled out of their asses. She just never seemed to fit in.

So if anyone can prove me wrong that would be great. I know that alot of people like her and I really am trying to myself, but I just don't get it. So, what game did you like her most in? why? What would be a good move set for her other than stick attack#1, stick attack#2, stick attack#3, and super talk to animals attack?

I appreciate the spoiler filters

lets make a habit of it if possble

I think we're looking a little too much into this. There's no way stickers will make smash anything close to another Diablo or WoW. Its been said lots of times that stickers will be given out like crazy. There won't be any need for grinding, or being "undergeared" or a brawl DKP system(god forbid). I really think its just a side bonus to mess around with whatever stickers you have to see what kind of combinations you can come up with. And it also makes replaying SSE (for unlockable trophies, stages, characters etc) alot more interesting. Also as some already said, I can pretty much guarantee you right now that you will not need stickers to beat the game.

Holy crap, he's done it there no end to the amount of STUFF in this game? Jeez, even calling it a "game" at this point just feels like an understatement...if that makes any sense

These are the kind of updates that I really missed

Jan 18th

general: Final Smash
specific: Zelda's Light arrow
super specific: Pic of Zelda shooting arrow at Dedede, Olimar, and Link. Also a pic of Sheik using the same Light Arrow FS

So there's still no way to import Brawl without modding my USA Wii huh?
