Anybody else get the vibe this is some sort of bizarre NFC powered board game?

Yeah, they need to add the RFN remix of Regulate.

Wait, THIS is Contra?!?! I remember this video, but I some how missed the name of the game. I didn't realize it was CONTRA! I just assumed it was Walmart brand Overwatch.

Eh, not that big a deal.

Did they just pull another Mario Maker 2? I’ve watched it twice now and they distinctly say “play locally with friends and play online with other players”.

Kait reminds me so much of Felicia Day!

I’m okay with this so long as they don’t turn toads into minions.

Am I the only one that thinks making the Zelda mobile game an escape-the-room game is the obvious choice to make with that franchise?

TalkBack / Re: ARMS Dated, New JoyCon Colors Launching Same Day

Am I the only one surprised by the fact that they haven't announced any Armiibo yet?
I regret nothing...

So my first moment of "So this is how this world works, huh?" came in Hetano village when you have to carry the ancient flame back to the research lab. I made my way to the flame pretty effortlessly, then lit my torch. I took three steps away, and it immediately started raining, putting out my torch. I had to stay at an inn and go for it again the next day. As annoying as that entire thing was, just the fact that it could happen impressed me and I got a small pang of twisted joy out of it.

Seriously, Nintendo, do you just not want free money?

Dude, everybody calm down. It's not like you have to buy it on day one. Just wait and see what the reports are like and make an educated decision about whether or not it's worth your money.

I'm bothered by the fact the save system in this game isn't listed as a con.

Okay, sure, I'll buy their reason for excluding streetpass, but Miiverse? Seriously? You've added photo/video sharing, and you're doing away with Miiverse?!?!

it's possible the short chord is to force an upsell, as there is a 6 foot extension cable for sale that is listed as specifically for this. Nintendo knew the short cable was an issue...

My thought process just now; "Nintendo is discounting games in my favorite series ever?!?!?! Awesome!!!! Except it's my favorite series ever... so I own them all already..."

I'm still going to have a dedicated portable. This thing isnt exactly small enough that I can comfortable take it to work to play on lunch.

While I won't deny sticker star had its issues, it definitely did one thing very well: it was a GREAT RPG for people who, like myself, don't really like deep RPGs. The only RPGs I've ever enjoyed were the Mario/Paper Mario games, and I LOVED thousand year door, but man, it could be REALLY challenging at times. And yes,Sticker Star stayed pretty simple, but I see that as a good thing. Nothing was ever TOO difficult; even the bosses hit that right kind of challenging, yet really simple if you knew the right secret. And my favorite part: NO GRINDING! So, yeah, while Sticker Star wasn't exactly Thousand Year Door's level of grand adventure, it was a great casual RPG and one I still like to visit from time to time.
