Graphically, this looks great, but I'm hella trash at tactics games so I will pass. I bought Octopath Traveler then barely played it. I'll go back and actually finis... haha, no, I won't. What's wrong with me?

Kinda in the same boat. Had tried the demo & ended up quitting mid-battle as I felt I was taking way too long. I know one gripe I have is the turns are by character initiative which frustrates me a bit. Especially when similar looking enemies have the same profile pic in the order tab & I'm not sure who to focus on. I prefer the old school player turn/enemy turn.

If 3D World's online multiplayer is remotely functional than I'd say it's one of the more substantial Switch ports.

That might tempt me. I have the original but never got around to finishing it. Online co-op could help me along.

Had bought Zombie Panic in Wonderland thinking it was a Wii port but turns out it's the PSP port(no motion controls).

I might have forced myself to try this one out if it had online. Heck, if it were a free to play online game I may have slowly got hooked & bought some DLC skins/customizable items depending on how active the community was.

Does Donkey Kong on Intellivision count? If not then probably the arcade version of Donkey Kong jr. I remember I used to go to a dentist as a kid where that & Popeye were set on free play.

My biggest gripe might be that last dungeon was driving me nuts. Maybe I've been away from 2D platformers for too long, but I had more trouble getting to the final boss than actually beating 'em.

Yeah the final dungeon is an absurd difficulty spike. The final boss is way cooler if you collect all the bats, too, but I never bothered going for it since the prospect of going through that dungeon again was too daunting. There was no easy teleport straight to the final boss either right?

If there was, I never used it. I stocked up on recovery items so beat the final boss on my first go around.

Shantae and the Pirate's Curse (WiiU)

After hearing about the new Shantae coming out I'd figure I'd take a step into the ol' backlog & finish this one up. I hear this one's considered one of the best of the series though I'm not as sure for now so I'll call it a tie with Risky's Revenge. My biggest gripe might be that last dungeon was driving me nuts. Usually I don't bother to 100% things but if I try Pirate mode, who knows.

Oninaki - Switch

It's uhh something of a mixed bag. Not sure if it's the odd pacing of the writing or what but I keep getting the feeling that this game came out before it should have. The gameplay isn't terrible once you find your favorite daemons/attacks & grind their levels a bit. Heck, once I got my fav (Zaav) to around level 5 or 6 he becomes OP when manifesting against bosses at 200% affinity. 

As for the ending? Might be one of the most disappointing endings I ever got. Looked online & the other ones don't look much better. Can't say I feel the desire to 100% things at the moment but I did unlock all of Zaav's memories at least. Found the backstories of your daemons more interesting than the main plot myself so if I do jump back in it'll be to unlock a few others.

I'm curious if GK thought ShyGuy and I were the ones with the roles and that's why he went for us first. In some ways it sort of worked out for him, as I definitely would have been pushing to take him out instead of Luigi Dude on that day. Of the three I thought him most likely to be Dark Samus.

Nah. You two were just kinda random picks honestly. Shyguy simply because I recalled he survived day 1 despite me voting for him. By the time I picked you I had already assumed I wasn't going to win this thing & was sticking it out in hopes of playing spoiler for Kraid since Samus was already out.

My MVP goes to Steef. Fav in-character poster. I was using his AI-suggestions as a voting Waze app a few times. I only targeted him at the last second because I was taking a "scorched earth" approach to my exit.

GK very straightforward and just making votes.  Posted their post at 5:12 am but later added their vote for me around 6:22pm. A hour and 10 minutes later just to add a vote for me. Why did it take so long to add that vote?  Perhaps as a new player they were waiting on someone to tell him to vote for me. Voted for ShyGuy on Day 1 and no other comments.

That I can answer. I posted, played a few rounds of a game then checked back for replies. The vote was already there but I forgot to bold the text to make it stand out so had to edit it & remove some needless flavor text in the process.

If I were just going with whoever voted first I'd have followed you & voted Lucario. lol

Oh hi GK pleasant day today huh..  As to your assertion of you voting with whoever voted first then why on Day 1 didn't you vote for Mop it up and not ShyGuy on the first day if that was your line of thinking going into this game?  I mean that was after pokepal said that they had the Metroid.  You would of surely had reason to vote for pokepal.  Were you just targeting someone who was rushing to vote for pokepal in one of Insanolord, ShyGuy or ejamer? 

 Please tell me why you are switching logic like that. Why are you not using your own logic for today and vote along side me for Lucario?

I'm not switching logic because I'm not using any. Also you make zero sense. Are you roleplaying a Tzeentch cultist today? Where do I say I dogpile on who is voted on first? Did you miss the "if" of my last post? I was just voting for you because you left this plea about sitting on a leaking toilet & stressing about stuff. I was doing a mercy vote. Now you want folks who you asked to vote for you to change their vote to Lucario because...?

If anything I may keep my vote just because I prefer Slaanesh...

I want to see Reggie somehow pull this off. But on the otherhand Radioshack couldn't pull it off & they had a wider crowd than GameStop...

Could see them running local tournaments for gift cards/store credit. It might give them a fighting chance. Works for the local 2nd & Charles. I don't consider myself much of a competitive player but even I've competed in a local tournament or two for a gift card. Heck, even won a Super Mario Kart one at said 2nd & Charles.
