Nintendo Gaming / RE:Oblivion on PSP, not Wii
« on: March 22, 2007, 02:30:56 PM »

The Wii could play the psp version easily.
But I've got a feeling it will suck the big one.
I love Oblivion, and the thought of it getting all watered down to fit the handheld thing does not sit well at all.

I'd recommend the  classic range priced 360 version, they just released a shader patch over live to give it the shader improvements the ps3 got from extra development time and The Shivering Isles expansion is released next week to add around another 30 hours of gameplay and hundreds of pieces or armour and weapons.

Best value game of the current gen IMO.

I own and enjoyed the 360 version and rented this hoping it would put a different cool spin on the gameplay and that they would go nicely hand in hand.

Man, I'm sorry but the Wii version is just awful. It was already difficult to look at, but the controls really top it off.

I'd highly recommend giving it a miss.

It's a completetly different game based in the same universe made specifically for the psp.
There is no way the psp could handle a port of Oblivion as it stands on 360, PC or PS3.
I love my Wii but there is no way the Wii could handle a straight port of it either.

Nintendo Gaming / RE:DONKEY KONG COUNTRY!!!!! SUCKS!! (on VC)
« on: March 21, 2007, 04:08:39 PM »

I'm gonna download this soon. It is a bit crap compared to say Super Mario World, Yoshi's Island or Mario 3 but the nostalgia level is huge.
Back to the Rare subject, I love Viva Pinata.
Plus I think Kameo is loads better than people made out. They both have a distinct Nintendo vibe to them.

360 owners (I love my 360) should play them both.
