Nintendo Gaming / RE: Nintendo isn't the problem..you are.
« on: April 13, 2004, 07:19:30 PM »

I believe that it's Nintendo's fault for the most part, because only hardcore Nintendo fans own a GameCube, the people who have support Ninetndo for sometime, and those people are the ones who only buy Nintendo's own games.

Nintendo need to be promoting the GameCube to wider auidence, casual gamers, like Sony has been doing, through advertising (there's a stradegy Nintendo, advertise.......). It's up to Nintendo themselves to create a wider auidence on thier consoles.

I don't think you can blame Nintendo fans, it's Nintendo's role to make sure third party games work sell on thier systems, or third party games on a Nintendo console will become non-existant.

I support the third parties and the GCN titles they produce, I own Beyond Good and Evil, Prince of Persia, RE and RE0 and a lot more 3rd party games, but for the most part, my GameCube collection consisits of Nintendo games cause they are the best!! hehehe....

Nintendo Gaming / RE: game cube not working

No, It was before the promotion started, and only just!!! I was really angry too!

I've had to resort to cutting barcodes from my games, and sending them to Nintendo.

The way Nintendo Australia has handled the Zelda Promotion for existing GameCube owners is absolutely stupid, if only they used the system Nintendo America used..... Nintendo Australia really suck! But, anyhow that's a different issue......

Oh, well, at least I'm getting the free Zelda disc... even though I've had to cut up two of my GC game boxes....

The same thing happened to me, my GameCube fell on the floor from quite a hight, we rang Nintendo, and they said we could send it in to them for $50AU (Australian dollar) for a quote. Instead, we explained the symptoms, and they said it was possible that it would cost $200AU to fix. Well, I just went out and bought a new GameCube for $149AU.

You might have to buy a new system.............

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Favorite Game Discussions!

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker is my favourite game! It's a massive adventure in which there is never a dull moment. I was entertained by the whole entire content of the game! It's presented beautifully, the graphics are perfect, the music/sound, and the gameplay is addictive. This game is original and innovative while staying in touch with the Zelda series I LOVE dearly!
This game is a ture Nintendo classic, and a ture masterpiece. I've played through the game 8 or 9 times now!!!!

Other games that are close, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (what a great game!!), Animal Crossing (Because it didn't leave my GCN for months, soooo addictive!!) and Metroid Prime.

Wow, they are all Nintendo made games, which isn't suprising, Nintendo ARE THE GREATEST!! (Fanboy - I am not)

Big fan of Resident Evil too!!!
