I'm having problems with my PC so just go to www.n-sider.com and find the Rev faq and keep reading or scrolling till you get to the part that says Gyration(it will be sorta bold) and click it. Some revealing info in there. Also it's a comprehensive faq with N qoutes. Better than IGN's.    sorry about the double post.

Anything is possible. If you had the Nes you know all the stuff that came out for that in terms of control and strange things that were very ahead of time concepts for consoles. I doubt the touch screen cause it's on the DS and it's expensive. It includes gyration, again I point to the article and inteview from awhile back with gyration. That will be included in the controler. I am sure of it. I very well could be wrong. I am not as you say "in the know" and have no "insider contacts".

Nintendo Gaming / RE:I predict Nintendo will be #3 again...
« on: March 24, 2005, 12:37:08 AM »
I finally realized that N will never be #1 atleast I think in sales of systems, unless the Rev pulls a big'ol rabbit out of the hat with an AK-47,some grenades and a nuclear bomb( and it very well might ). It dosen't matter to me anymore cause to be #1 it looks like you have to waste all your money on advertising and making the console a freakin do all system. People say N has been atrocious well they have been laughing all the way to the bank for along time and have aquired a helluva lot of money and will always make systems and games and turn profits, they are very smart. There's a reason N's stock is worth more than Sony's.   Cuz I'z saz so.  dumbfounded ozer uzing the letter z zo much.

Is that new fixation point N created  something only N can use or are they gonna let other developers who wish to use some form of it apply it to other games. Also it was said to be implemented in MP 6 right? If so how much?

I really don't think it has anything to do with monitoring heart rate etc. The projector thing also, no way. It would take up to much room in Japan to play the system. Remember people in Japan don't have alot room for homes etc. Also remember the thing I said about SK and Sega was just my opinion so don't bash me when it's a PS2 game or BS-box game. I will refrain from posting my own speculation like that from now on.

I think they are even dumb for making the first one let alone a second one. The first bombed and so will the second. Period!

General Gaming / RE:Getting a PSP?
« on: March 23, 2005, 06:45:54 PM »
It dosen't make any sense to me why anyone would buy a PSP. 2-3 hours battery life, different format for movies, expensive games(that are ports) old expensive music. Really pretty screen though!(LMAO). What has the world come to with a bunch of wannabees trying to be cool, buying Sony for brand name power. The system sucks. For the ridiculous price the thing better have a free 8-ball included.

Nintendo Gaming / RE:New Revolution rumors
« on: March 23, 2005, 04:51:41 PM »
I don't have the link but I think it was mentioned in an IGN article. Not much at all was said about it. Only that someone at IGN saw someone from SK go into a meeting room for N. I'll try to find it though. When I think of Sega besides console failure and games with bugs mature does come to mind.

Nintendo Gaming / RE:New Revolution rumors
« on: March 23, 2005, 07:11:22 AM »
In the interview with gyration they even said that they wanted to make controlers with gyros in them and it would take a revolutionary system to realize this. Hence the Nintendo Revolution. I'm very sure N is actively involved with the controler as well (duh of course). N didn't buy gyration they just invested for the use of two patents.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              I'll start a rumor in here based off of some facts. Sega and Silicon Knights have agreed to colaborate on a next-gen title(fact).Sega is handling the marketing(fact). Other sites saw a high member of SK go into a N only meeting a little while back and a N person said that SK may do a GBA game or something other(fact). N knows they let down the mature gaming audience with GC(fact). Iwata even stated that they have learned greatly what gamers want(fact). Just look at how well great M rated games have done on other systems and look at the greatness that is RE4(opinionated fact). Here goes the opinion part. It's easy to come to this conclusion for me anyways. SK is making a Rev title rated M of course and Sega will market it based on the fact that when you think of Sega besides some negatives you think of mature gaming. It will either be at launch or late first year or early second year! Maybe I'm crazy but it's very plausible. Agree disagree anyone?   GDC is very gone and there's no news. I think i'm correct though.         Nintendo is like the Pope, they have all the money and will never go away!

Silicon Knights will colaborate with Sega for a next generation title. The qoute from SK was " next-gen title" given the track record for adult games and a certain meeting they had with the big N I expect that qoute to mean a Rev title. A N rep said they may do a GBA game or something other. N knows they let the mature audience down with the GC so I expect it to be a Rev game. Sega is also handling all of the marketing. My opinion could be wrong but it's a very good educated guess atleast! Anyone agree or disagree? Why or why not?

« on: March 19, 2005, 11:06:09 AM »
I'd like to see Sega make new and better installments of Jet Moto and Shenmue for Rev. Why didn't they make them for current systems?

14
What was that thing that Sony made that could take pictures of you and your surrondings and make almost a game out of them or something? N made a comment that they like to think they have the best R & D teams and that they could come up with something better than that. So I wonder if that will launch with Rev or be a part of it. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Nintendo Gaming / RE:No Third parties?
« on: March 19, 2005, 10:43:25 AM »
N will have 3rd party support for Rev, trust me on that! They will always have support for there systems. I'm glad that Reg is with NOA because our market place is the most important. Microsoft is probably gonna sink like Sega did with Dreamcast, people will buy the BS-box because it will be new, then N will show up right alongside Sony with better marketing than the past(and smarter I might ad) then the BS-box will fade away, just like the DC did.

You now Capcom will support it along with Sega,Act,Ubi,Kon,Mid,Squ-Eni,EA and all N's talent with Ret and the Jap developers will be there too. So N will be fine. 80-90% of games are  crap anyways but people like a selection and bragging rights even if there only gonna buy the AAA titles.

Nintendo Gaming / RE:What gamers want in the next Nintendo system
« on: March 18, 2005, 01:13:41 PM »
I never caught onto the whole SSMB buzz. Iv'e been playing video games ever since I figured out that you could put quarters in a machine and make stuff on the screen move( I was about 5-6). When I play a game with Mario in it it reminds me of that first sureal expierience with the Nes and that arcade game where Mario ran around with a hammer trying to get to Donkey Kong. I don't like the whole Mario fighting thing. Give me a great SF or violent fighter. Anyone remember Time Killers and Primal Rage for the arcades or the modified SF TE pirated version. Those were great. Cute characters and fighters don't work with me.

Everyone we should just trust the N and let them make great things. The stuff there making we probably don't even know we want. The industry has turned into a linear pathline of somesorts, let's let the big N make the industry 3D again so to speak.

They won't be #3.#2 at the very least. I was disgusted with J's presintation. The HD era? That's garbage. Revolution will cost somewhere between 299-199 and MS and Sony will mark there's at about 399 plus(maybe). Nintendo is doing the right thing by doing what they do(innovation). Remember who brought us the D-pad the select button(now useless though) the analog stick, shoulder buttons, wireless controlers for the Nes,the first 6 button controler, the rumble pack/device, the mat that you ran on for track and field(Nes game),the robot that came with Nes, the power glove. The N came out with some impressive stuff for the Nes when I was about 8. I trust that Rev will do great things.

Nintendo Gaming / RE:Nintendogs!

I like that qoute Dan. I would buy N'dogs if it had my two favorite dogs( Rot and Pitbull ). Although how would N handle the violent characteristics of a pitbull. They might tone it down.

Alright my spelling isn't great so give me some slack in here. I know the big N won't do it but how about a N'dogs version with a Rot,Pit,Doberman and some other bad  dogs. It would sure help the image of N always bieng dorky. They always lead with there ideas but the competitors always flood there resources so that they rip off the idea and make it to market before N does, so N always seems to the average consumer to be second, plus the average consumer dosen't care about who's idea it was. I do though and it's good to see the big N back at it again pushing the envelope and making the expieience fresh and new again.
