General Gaming / RE:DS Vs PS2 (don't know how to make a poll)
« on: December 22, 2004, 01:47:23 PM »
Think your pretty funny huh?

I said don't post DS just because your nintendo biased, meaning your a nintendo junkie who prefers nintendo over all other systems. I said that because this is a GC forum, and GC is made by, you guessed it, nintendo. So chances are most people here prefer the GC.

General Gaming / DS Vs PS2 (don't know how to make a poll)
« on: December 22, 2004, 09:47:28 AM »
So I have a delima. I want either a DS or PS2. Actually I wanted a PS2 instead of a GC but money/time didn't allow, but I love my GC anyways. TO THE POINT!

Would you reccomend a PS2 or DS? Please do not make choice because of online capabilities, that is not the issue. And please don't put DS because your nintendo biased. Thanks alot folks!

Will this game be made for GC eventually? All the other Tom Clancy games have been made for the GC, or most of them at least.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: is gamecube for me?

It isn't neccesarily for youngsters, in fact there are some pretty graphic titles out there, or ones that might be too hard for kids. It is true that alot of the childrens games out there are for GC though. I would get a GC all the same, but there is nothign wrong with going with an Xbox or PS2.

Not really. I hope to get a PS2 for Xmas. So it isn't really a problem. Besides, I love my GC!

Nintendo Gaming / GC Online?
« on: November 21, 2004, 03:02:33 PM »
If I am not mistaken, there is an online service for the GC. Can someone direct me to a site with info on it? Also, can you guys tell me of some games for it? I saw Phantasy Star, which looks somewhat interesting.

NOTE- I have tried Nintendo's site, all I found was how to hook up a LAN connection. I may have overlooked it, sorry if I did.

Thanks.

Edit-- I just checked the main site. Looked at the broadband adapter. So! Do they make ethernet cable splitters? Do they make ethernet cables that are EXTREMELY long (like 20-30ft), if not, do they make "connecters" that allow you to connet a length of cables, which I guess is the same as a splitter? Do you have to pay a service to Nintendo like you have to with Xbox?

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Hello Kitty Game? Details?
« on: November 21, 2004, 10:10:06 AM »
Am I the only person that thinks Hello Kitty is the MOST pointless thing on the planet? It is just a device used to make mass amounts of merchandise and sell it to an unsuspecting popullus. I mean, it is already pointless enough.... but a video game? What the hell would you do in a Hello Kitty video game? Make friends with other Hello style animals?

Thats just my .02$ .

Nintendo Gaming / Just got a GC
« on: November 21, 2004, 10:06:34 AM »
I traded in my Xbox and related things for a GC. Here is a list of what I got.

Game Cube Limited Platinum Metroid Edition
Soul Calibur II
Black Controller
150 Block Memory Card

I couldn't really find a ton of games that looked good to me. I was going to get FF Crystal Chronicles (or something like that), but it looked too much like all the other FF games. Then I saw Zoids, but I didn't have the flow for that.

So my main question is, what games would you reccomend? I prefer "dark" or "spooky" games, or those involving vampires. I enjoy some fighting/shooters as well, and the ocasional RPG.
