Hehe... I'm pretty sure Stiker Obi is the one who made my new avatar.

Thanks for the offer... but I already have a host. It just wouldn't let me use any avatars. Apparently someone would rather have me use this crazy animated avatar. The text is just a tad different than what I asked for in the other thread also. Haha, but I don't mind. I find the one I've been given to be mildly amusing. Though I do have a small favor to ask of anyone willing. Could you please add one more ! to my title?! I'm obsessive compulsive.

Couchmonkey, you're right. I'll still post, but I'm not going say anything that the people here generally disagree with. I'm going to keep my mouth shut about that kind of thing.

Also, about my last couple of posts, I'm sorry. I didn't think about how much that hardware costs. Hehe, I guess I'm just lucky to have such a nice computer. I payed less than most people though. I'm so glad Newegg exists.

These hands!! I can't get them off my wrists!!

Wouldn't it be a lot easier to just add a little box to the profile settings so people can do this on their own, hmm?!

I hate it because when I tried to get rid of the piece of crap it turned out that it wouldn't read blue discs so I couldn't afford a Gamecube because of the refurbishing cost. I had to get a used one, and now I owe my brother fifty bucks because I wanted to buy the Wind Waker. I'm never going to pay him back if I can help it though.

I already said my numbers probably weren't accurate.

Anyway, I'd like to point something out here. Eventually graphics will reach a point where they look exactly like real life or whatever else you could possibly want a game to look like. Hopefully we will get to a point where everything is all matrixy like but better (no giant needle in the back of your head). Whatever, forget the argument. You guys think whatever you want because as much as you want it to be true, it will not change anything. People are way to deadset in thinking they are right, even when they are so completely wrong it makes you want to puke. I could be wrong too, but I don't care. I'm not claiming to be an expert on the subject.

<rant>
But I do have a message for Nintendo Soldier... ARE YOU BLIND?! What makes you think I'm an xbox fanboy?! The biggest hint that I'm not is that I talked about computers, not the xbox. Ooh, another big one, I own a Gamecube!! Wow, would a mindless xbox fanboy own a Gamecube?! Yeah, that wouldn't make sense to me either. Jeez, not to mention you need spelling lessons. Would anyone like to know the number one reason I called Soldier a "mindless" fanboy?! Because he didn't state ANY REASONS whatsoever when he said that the xbox is a bad system. C'mon, at least come up with some reasons, even if they are really bad one. Nope, you're too lazy to even bother.
</rant>

Onto a slightly different subject. Nintendo is a buisness. It is in their best interest to please fans so they can keep making money. They are seemingly far less greedy than other big corporations (I think they are far less greedy myself). But my point still stands, they exist to make money for themselves. Certain people their are not in it for the money, of course. Most of them are probably there just to make money and have fun in the process. Then again, I could be completely wrong about everything. Maybe I'm just a little pink bunny having hallucinations while being dunked in a pool full of bleach.

Why do I even bother?! There are more important things in life than arguing over this type of thing!! From now on I'm not going to make any more comments. I'm just going to read. Unless of course someone states something that has been proven false.

I wouldn't doubt she's ten years old, judging by the fact that Tingle is in the game.

Nintendo Soldier, please stop being a mindless fanboy, I like nintendo games too, but that doesn't mean I have to worship the ground they walk upon.

I'd like to point some things out to everyone who says "hardware doesn't matter", please take into acocunt the following. For a game to look good, sound good, and play well, you need good hardware. Hardware is only as good as the games on it, of course. Yet at the same time games can only be as good as the hardware that runs them. Making good games requires a lot more than most people seem to think. People like consoles because they are cheaper than computers in most cases. Unfortunatly, to make the prices so low they have to leave out certain things. For example, the average computer user runs their display at 1024 by 768 pixels (this number is rising). The xbox, on the other hand, displays images at 640 by 480 pixels. As big as xbox happens to be, the PC is is still much larger. Sound quality is also a big difference between the two categories. The xbox offers 5.1 surround whereas the maximum a computer offers is 7.1 surround. The maximum RAM for a computer is also another massive dividing factor. The maximum RAM depends on the computer but I do know it goes at least up to three gigabytes on some motherboards. I don't claim that any of these numbers are exact. If you want exact specifications look them up yourself. I'm too lazy for that. I haven't gone through every important difference here, but I do have one last thing to point out to everyone who reads this. Right now three 3.5 gigahertz processors may seem like a lot of power, and it is, but by the time the next generation consoles come out, computers will have PCI Express, and 64 bit processors running at speeds beyond four gigahertz. The maximum RAM limit will be raised once again, hard drives will have even greater storage capacity, and who knows what else might happen.

The next Zelda game looks amazing, but if they're telling the truth about it running at 100% of the Gamecubes power, all that tells me is that it will not look as good or run as smoothly could have if Nintendo had released better hardware. Half Life 2, Unreal Engine 3, and whatever else already have better graphics. Please don't argue with me unless you've watched the tech demos for both of those. Regardless of the graphics though, I am still looking forward to the next Zelda game a lot more than most other games (the graphics are amazing, especially considering the fact that it's on the Gamecube). All I'm saying is that it could still be better.

Once again, I request that none of you kill me in my sleep.

P.S.

Does anyone know where I can download the music from the Zelda trailer?!

NOTE : The above numbers for computer hardware are for games only. Certain proffesional applications require more than the average computer can handle.

Mine is elementc. Many people seem to not notice the >>C<< at the end of my screen name. Is it really that hard to see it there?! Oh the inhumanity!!

NOTE : I'm never on anymore, my parents let their retarded dog into my room and he chewed up my headset, I'm bored of Mech Assault, and I only have two other games, and they aren't live enabled. When Halo 2 comes out I will get a new headset. I'd also like everyone to know that I HATE THAT DOG WITH EVERY FIBER OF MY BEING!! He also chewed through my Sennheiser headphones!! TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS WORTH OF ELECTRONICS DOWN THE DRAIN!! THANK YOU NATURE FOR PROVIDING EARTH WITH DOGS SO THAT EVERY SINGLE SMALL EXPENSIVE ELECTRONIC DEVICE CAN BE CHEWED THROUGH. Sorry about that rant, but I really, really, hate that retarded animal. I wouldn't be sad in the least bit if we sold him or he ran away. I don't want him dead, but I don't want him around either.

Evil Intentions, the alien scum is the same one from the first game, plus a few more enemies. They won't tell anyone about all the details though (obviously). Someone above said that there aren't enough different types of enemies. Hmm... let me think about that for... nope, I don't need to think about that. How many games have that much diversity in the troops anyway?! Most FPS games have one race, human, with different subclasses, who do different things. They've got that in halo just spread over a couple different races with their own subclasses. The grunts and elites are sorted into different colors based on rank. Certain ranks are allowed to have certain weapons. Jackals are in an infantry class of their own in this case. Bah, who am I kidding?! I'm not going to waste any more of my time debating about Halo. Either way Half Life 2 will be better.

1000 years was just an example. Who says they didn't write down as much as possible after the flood anyway?! Like I said before though, it doesn't really matter what we think... let's just forget about it for now and wait until the next game. If crap doesn't get straightened out by that time... everyone who wants to know the details should flood Nintendo with letters. Who knows, maybe it could work.

They are actually going toe to toe with the PS2 in sales. By not having Backward compatibility... they will lose the momentum they have People that currently on the xbox won't feel obligated to purchase the xbox 2 to play their older games. I thought backward compatiblity was unnecessary before but the blind purchasing of the PS2 at launch despite the lack of quality titles proves me wrong.

I'd like to point something out right here. The xbox 2 may or may not have a harddrive. That doesn't seem to be set in stone at this point in time. On the issue of backwards compatibility... Gamespy reported that only about ten percent of the people who have a PS2 actually play their older games. Though, 10% of the xbox's user base is much more important in Microsoft's case. ABout that that last part about "obligaton", you don't buy a new console to be able to plat older games. Either way, this whole thing about backwards compatibility may end up being pointless if they get their emulator working. I personally find it funny that Microsoft is using Apple computers to develop the xbox 2. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

By the way... that article is also on Gamespy, which happens to be far better than IGN could ever dream of being!! Gamespy made the article, not IGN, those jerks, why'd they have to partner with Gamespy... oh well.

Halo, obviously I like it quite a bit. I use the legendary symbol as my avatar. It was a good game. Halo 2 should be a lot better though. Halo was nowhere near being a perfect game, but at the time it got closer than a lot of the other ones available. I have to side with my brother on the issue of Console vs. PC for FPS games. Computers are better than all the others for shear support of different things. Please don't yell at me over this. It's just that PC's have better graphics (shut up, graphics have their place in gaming), sound, controls (like the xbox, Gamecube, or PS2 controllers?! Get an adapter and use it all you want), and replayability (only the PC let's you mod games). There are plenty of other reasons why the hardware itself is superior... but the truth is that is still comes down to the games. There are some really great games for all the systems, and I'm not going to argue which ones are better. Hmm... well, that was certainly pointless. I'm guessing that pretty much no one else here gives a crap about computers. Goodnight everyone, please don't kill me in my sleep.

My opinion on the whole 100 years difference thing is that it is deffinently not enough time for an entire civilization to forget just about every detail about it's past history. What with that whole cataclysmic planet changing flood and all... you'd think that more people would remember something that important over the course of a couple generations. Either that or they had a really bad plague that made people forget everything, or some other bullcrap explanation. I think the best explanation for the timeline is that Miyamoto doesn't care. It's as simple as that.

I think what he meant by the whole makeup thing is that she is like a ten year old or something, she is a little girl, not an adult. In conclusion, what he was saying in the case of her makeup is that... SHE HAS WAY TOO MUCH OF IT ON HER FACE. Correct? Also, I hate that pearl necklace thing she wears, those things are massive.

Back to the main topic, I forgot to make a guess in my last post, so here goes!!

Zelda will be a midget in a half monkey, half waffle suit, and she will be called "RENALDO!!" Including the caps and exclamation points. Pretty good guess if I do say so myself. Evidence showing that that isn't quite as far fetched as it sounds... Tingle, a 35 year old midget wearing a fairy outfit.
