Bestbuy.com has the Logitech Speed Force Wheel for Gamecube for $17.99 with free shipping (sells for about $40 most everywhere else). There's also a $10 mail-in rebate for the wheel, making it just $7.99 after rebate. The rebate form is located inside all Mario Kart: Double Dash games and other select Gamecube games (on the same sheet as the pin code number). It's valid until June 30, 2004.

Nintendo Gaming / RE:A Mario and Sonic adventure...
« on: March 24, 2004, 01:56:05 PM »
I don't see it happeneing, but I don't agree with saying the game wouldn't work because the characters/games are so different.  It all depends on what type of game it would be, and how good the developing team would be.  Look at Dream Mix TV on the GC.  It's a melee fighter with the strangest mix of characters - Simon Belmont, Optimus Prime, Bomberman, etc.

On a side note, there was an unlicensed game from Asia that came out on the Famciom (Japanese NES) called Somari.  Basically, it was Mario with Sonic's shoes and in Sonic's levels.  It was a really bad game, but an interesting concept.  I think I still have it lying around in a box somewhere with my Street Fighter III Famicom cart

Nintendo Gaming / What are some hard to find Gamecube games?

I know Gauntley Dark Legacy and Bust a Move 3000 are getting pretty hard to find now on the GC. What other GC games had limited print runs?

Nintendo Gaming / RE:I want the cheapest memory card available

I haven't had problems with any of my 3rd party memory cards.  The only thing that sucks about them is that they don't fit in the game's case.

It's worth it just for Smash TV alone.

According to the-magicbox.com, it's still uncofirmed.  The rumor is that Capcom is planning to release VJ2 in December for Japan.  It's also supposed to have a co-op feature for 2 players.

If the next Animal Crossing is online, Nintendo's got my $50 (or whatver they're charging).  2-player co-op would own as well.
