easports.ea.com has great tutorial videos. But basically the batting interface was a timed batting interface where you just timed your swing but as a modifier you could point the analog stick into left field, right field or center field to hit the ball in that direction, although you had to be careful because a left handed batter trying to push the ball to right field doesn't always work well and pulling it to left also resulted in a fair share of ground balls. So pretty much the batting interface was fairly realistic. The pitching interface was the best ever, pretty much you would select a pitch, locate it then choose the style of pitch (2 seam fastball, 4 seam fastball, curve, slider, etc) then hold down the desired pitch button and a meter, similar to the ones found in old tiger woods and madden, would come up, you hold it till it reaches the bottom of the meter then the meter comes back and you want to get into the green on the meter. It's hard to explain but it made for arguably the best pitching interface ever, I hope they don't change it too much.

Hopefully the fans wouldn't mind it if our games changed story's with no explanation of how the villains were destroyed every so often."

I do agree with you that Resident Evil DOES need a change... but what I'm saying is that it is utterly stupid to just suddenly end the Umbrella corporation with no explanation at all.
Even if we get a minor explanation of how Umbrella was destroyed, then I'll be happy... but it is going to create a bigger plot hole if Capcom don't explain it.

Ok I might sound stupid for saying this, but at the end of Resident Evil 3 didn't they blow up Raccoon City? Because At least in the ending I got that happened.

Sorry about the spoiler.

the only interlaced mode for progressive scan is 1080i..may seem odd to have that interlaced mode but the resolution is high (1920x1080 !). 480p and 720p are the more common modes. im still a newb on all this..anyone feel free to correct me..im like a sponge!

Ok I'll help everyone out here, 480i is SDTV (Standard Definition Television), 480p is EDTV (Enhanced Definition Television), 720p is Progressive HDTV (Progressive Scan High Definition Television) and 1080i is Interlaced HDTV (Interlaced High Definition Television). 480i is what most people are viewing on there tv, 480p is a smoother picture from 480i but it's still the same resolution so many consider it Enhanced. 720p is the a Progressive High Def signal, it increases the resolution (1280x720) and also has a progressive signal which provides a much smoother picture over Interlaced because it scans all the lines in one sweep while Interlaced does alternate lines per sweep. 1080i is the older brother to 720p, It has a amazing resolution (1920x1080) but has a Interlaced signal so it does alternate lines per sweep rather than getting all the lines in one sweep. There is a new signal only found in the newer TV's, 1080p. 1080p is the newest High Definition Signal around, it has the amazing resolution of 1080i (1920x1080) but also includes the progressive signal of 720p, so It's the best of both worlds. So there is a lesson in Television signals.
