Nintendo Gaming / RE:Zelda: Wind Waker was it a let down?

Me, personally, I loved WW. It is definetly my favorite game of all time. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The swordplay was amazing, I just loved the way that it flowed, all fluid and stuff. Also, I enjoyed sailing alot. I thought it was fun, personally. The graphics and atmosphere are top-notch. The music and sound effects are great. I also enjoyed the way that all the islands and dungeons were designed. I felt really emmersed by the atmosphere. I find it hard to find any fault with the game at all. (Except the length, which, although it's rather short, i would rather have a short, tightly packed game then a long, tedious one.)

i know. IT is a new attachment for the gamecube. Through the bottom you would be able to connect the new.....NINTENDO GRILL! Think about that, can a PS2 or an Xbox grill you a hamberger while you play? I think not! it would give nintendo a true lead in the console race.

P.s. If i had photoshop or something like that i would merge a picture of a gamecube and a george forman grill. But i dont. If anyone does that would be really cool!

Nintendo Gaming / RE:Is progressive scan worth it?
« on: September 16, 2003, 12:32:27 PM »
Okay, people I am going to straiten you out on Progressive Scan and HDTV.

First, If you don't have a HDTV, progressive scan technology will do nothing for you, Period. So don't even try
Second, If you have a HDTV, great, but you NEED COMPONENT VIDEO CABLES TO GET ANYTHING OUT OF IT.
Next, If you have an HDTV and component video cables, you need to find products/games that support it and and you need to activate it. Otherwise, it will do nothing for you.
Last, If you lack a HDTV, getting component video cables  WILL NOT DO ANYTHING FOR YOU. (Your TV probably won't have one anyways.) In that case, S-Video is the best way for you to go.

That's pretty much the skinny on Progressive Scan.
