General Gaming / Dev for Sonic Racing Transformed offers SEGA fans a challenge

The developer of Sonic All Stars Racing Transformed has offered a challenge to all Sega fans. If your character gets 1,000 votes he will talk to Sega about adding them as DLC.
This could be a chance to get some well deserved SEGA characters some much needed recognition. If you wish to vote, go to this thread on the sega forums where you will notice we setup "petitions" to track the number of votes each character gets. Tell your friends and spread the word, it'd be great to make this a reality
How often do devs give fans this chance?
Personally, I voted for Sakura (Sakura wars), Selivia Bles (Valkyrie Chronicles), and Amitie from Puyo-Puyo.
