Looking at that composer list, I found it strange that one particular name is missing:  Nobuo Uematsu.  Kinda interesting that the man behind the trailer isn't going to have his presence felt in the final product.

I'm all for red.  Preferably a darker shade, like the Virtual Boy.

At first I was iffy about white, for its potential to become as yellow as my Dreamcast, but the gloss finish could help prevent that from happening.

Come to think about it, the means of control for the NES and SNES games could very well be right in front of our noses.  Now what was it called again..........  Oh yeah!  The DS.

I won't be using ezaphlix, as I perfer to use a name at least I know how to pronounce.  I'm sam i am not on XBL, but I hate that name.  In the DDR circles I'm Dobby, however, I'd like to keep that strictly for DDR.  I guess when the time comes I'll dive into old episodes of Monty Python for something.

Though I promise not to use...

Nintendo Gaming / RE: First DS Game Box-Art Revealed
« on: September 29, 2004, 09:32:31 PM »
Does it really make sense to use GBA-sized boxes when the games are only slightly larger than SD cards?  I thought I would never say this in a million years, but Nintendo should make the cases like N-Gage games.  Just shrunken down DVD cases.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Why does Konami hate GC?
« on: June 13, 2004, 06:47:46 PM »
Once upon a time Konami was my absolute favorite developer.  Between Castlevania, Blades of Steel, Double Dribble, TMNT and countless others, I would seldom play games by anyone else.  Now they put out just crap.  The only reason I even acknowledge their existence at all is because I'm downright obsessed with DDR.  Still, how the mighty have fallen.

I really don't see why both screens can't do 3D.  Remember that the 2D processor in the DS is the same thing found in the GBA.  And last I checked the GBA is quite capable of 3D.

How to use the touch screen...  How about in an RPG you can use the stylus to navigate all the menus?  Tapping the option you want sure beats pressing down a dozen or so times.

Well, it was just the e-mail (I only registered last night), but I can always hope...

Rewritable.  Mass-storage.  Compact.  Sounds less like a GCN add-on and more like the storage medium for N5 if you ask me.

No, it's Midway...

Acclaim did publish the home ports of the first two games, so close enough.

This situation though is a nice double-edged sword though.  Fewer games=bad.  Fewer bad games=good.  I'm not gonna miss them though.  After all, of the hundreds of games I own on a dozen systems, only two of them are from Acclaim:  Dave Mirra 2 for GC, whose developer was bought out by Activision anyway, and Wizards and Warriors for NES,  the former crashed on me counless times and the latter I've played twice.  I could care less if they went under, especially the ad-wizards at the UK office.

Nintendo Gaming / Animal Crossing Sites

Unfortunately, aside from the monthly event guide, the official site hasn't been updated since December.  I recommend AXA

Of all the franchises Sega could've brought back, Clockwork Knight is the last I expected to be revived.  And this would be the third game as a sequel was made for the Saturn.

The twin could be referring to Liquid Snake.  Could this be an MGS1 remake after all?

Nintendo Gaming / GBA SP problems
« on: April 20, 2003, 07:08:04 AM »
I've had problems of a different sort.  There is this one pixel that is always white regardless of what's on the screen.  And a little above it there's a pixel that's always red.  The red one works fine when displaying a light colour, it's just the darker colours that make it go red.  And no, it's not dust.

I'm like Cerberus.  Except the name I use when given no default is Bob.

Well, when I got it the bonus discs were actually on the rack with the rest of the games.  So I would put my money on "out of stock"

Nintendo Gaming / GC online TO wipe the floor with XBOX live...?
« on: February 22, 2003, 09:13:19 PM »
$60 a month for broadband?!   I only pay half of that for my cable.  Don't tell me something is actually more affordable in Canada!  As for N Online, they should include a disc with the adaptors that has a bunch of online minigames.  Puzzle games like Tetris Attack (hell, just put Nintendo Puzzle Collection in there.), remakes of some NES games (online Balloon Fight would kick 31 flavours of ass), and other games simple enough so that it could all be free.

Nintendo Gaming / Eternal Darkness $20 at Bestbuy.(Post good deals here)
« on: February 13, 2003, 08:36:54 PM »
I've come to the conclusion that these great deal threads are started with the sole intention of teasing me, as the canadian dollar prevents anything from being affordable.  I mean, why pay $10 for Beach Spikers when I could go to Wal-Mart and pay $80?

Although, Future Shop currently has WMX8 and Madden 2002 for $20.  That comes off as good news for the fellow currency challenged people out there.
