That would suck.
What would you do?
Sonic and Mario have vastly different gameplay.
Bad idea.

Nintendo Gaming / RE:Are Games Getting To Easy?
« on: October 14, 2003, 01:15:02 PM »
I think a lot of games are pretty easy, but there are also a lot of hard ones out there, so it's up to you as to what you buy.
For example, in Mario Sunshie, the main game was pretty easy, but try getting all 120 Shines and such and the game gets a whole lot harder.
Metroid was amazing and hard mode is incredible.
F-Zero was really hard at some points, but you got used to it.
Viewtiful Joe was pretty easy on Kids, but Adults you really have to work for!
The way I look at it, I think it's dumb complaining about it. After all, no matter how hard a game is, if you stick with it, you will perfect it eventually.
If you started SSB:M on Very Hard the first time you playred it and only played that, it would suck for a while, but once you get the hand at it, you will be an amazing player.
The harder the game, the better you will be at it.

Sounds real mature.

Guys, come on. I love video games as much as the next guy, but none of you are serious, are you? This child would be tortured in school if you named him after a recognizable video game character. When you guys are saying "Link is actually a good name" and "I think Samus is good", you're joking right?

BTW Kirby is a real name, so that kid wouldn't get as beat up as if he were named "Pikachu".

The only way anyone should name their kid after a video game character is if it;s a normal name (or not so normal, like, Zelda. It isn't really normal, but it's real.).

Just need someone with the right know-how.

Please tell me where you got this! I've wanted one for so long but didn't know if one existed.

This is a page with a picture of the guy that said it.

Yeah, and he really looks like the absolute epitomy of coolness. I don't think he's hanging around with 25 year olds playing N-Gage on Friday nights.

I saw this show as well, however it was a rerun and wasn't a documentary and was on Exhibit A: Secrets of Forensic Science. It said that this was a guy who used to go to college and stay in his room all day (literally) and play a computer game called Morph. It said he used to call his parents for money and one day they stopped giving it to him. So he came home for a weekend and was playing Morph and he was getting really stressed out brecause it kept crashing or he couldn't pass a certain part (I can't remember). He then was filled with rage and killed his family with an ax but he killed his little sister by injecting her with drugs. The show did say that he probably came home with the intentions to kill his family anyway, so it probably was not the game, he was going to do it anyway, but the game stressed him out big time and he did it.
Also, if you feel the need to kill someone after playing a game you probably shouldn't be allowed outside and should be an institution or something. These people are already disturbed, the game didn't make them kill.

Oh yeah, he was supposed to be quite intelligent. And he had the nickname "Stinky Ahmad" or something from his friends because of his B.O.

you can only tale out the sword when fighting someone and you have to press A and X simultaneously outside of bullet-time. once you are using it, you can focus, though. the only training thing i know of is the sword.dsk

I like the cel shading, but I'd also like to see a realistic one. I don't care if he's grown up or is a kid, I just want more Zelda.

Nintendo Gaming / Thanks for nothing Nintendo!!!(Zelda 4 Swords)
« on: May 18, 2003, 02:24:03 PM »
Wow, I can't wait for this. My friends who have cube and a GBA all have connecters, this is going to be amazing. So to all you whiners, no one told you to play the game. If a game for PC came out and you didn't have the system requirements you wouldn't be saying "Thanks for nothing!". It's the same thing.

Does that bother anyone else or is it just me? Everytime I saw them SSBM it drove me crazy.

Nintendo Gaming / GameCube SP
« on: May 06, 2003, 08:48:19 AM »
I hate it when people give me that "Nintendo is better than that! They only need hardcore gamers!" crap. Nintendo wants to make money, they don't make the games to let the little children be happy. They want money. Frrankly, if Nintendo wants more money they should just add more features. I love Gamecube and I hate PS2 and am not really a fan of XBox but I think they did the smart thing, because look whose doing better. Also, to all you people who are saying "I don't care if a console looks cool, I just play it for the games!" if you don't care, why don't you think the GCN should make their systems look cooler? According to you, the image has nothing to do with it so it shouldn't matter. If Nintendo wants more customers, they need cool-looking systems with features. Face it.

Also, I think that the term "Hardcore Gamer" is stupid. Anyone who calls themselves a hardcore gamer makes me want to throw a pie at them. There's nothing "hardcore" about playing video games.

I miss Banjo-Kazooie. BK and Banjo-Tooie were my favourite games ever. If Rare ever gets around to making a third one I'm going to want a XBox.

Nintendo Gaming / Mario Kart: Double Dash Question
« on: April 23, 2003, 05:04:38 AM »
I have a question, I know you guys are all freaking out, but I'm kind of disappointed. How will it work in single player? Does a computer control your items? I rathered to be able to drive and control items. I hope this kind of gameplay will still exist, because without it, single player will suck.

Nintendo Gaming / WW. Japanese version VS. The U.S. version ?
« on: April 13, 2003, 04:26:28 PM »
When finding the triforce charts, you had to find a map, which led to a map, which led to a map, which led to the triforce chart, which led to the triforce shard for each of the triforce charts. I'm so happy they took it out, finding the triforce charts is tedious enough.

Nintendo Gaming / The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker General Help

Hi, I'm using a guide to find all the heart pieces now that I'm done the game, the last two I need are the ones where you help the Deku saplings and  the 12-eyed Octo near Tingle Island. The problem is, I can't find him anywhere! I know you have to look for seagulls and I fond four that are always circling the same spot, but when I go there, nothing happens. What am I doing wrong? I really want these last to heart pieces.
