Nintendo Gaming / What ever happened to Creatures?

I don't know why, but that game popped up in my head.
I read awhile ago that it was going to be released for the gamecube and gameboy advance, but I guess it got cancelled. Here's some links about it.
I took out the www.'s so they're not automaticly clickable, does that steal bandwith or something?

for that one, press control f and type nintendo, should get you to the main stuff.
In case you never played the game before (all of you), it came out for the PC eight years ago, and was my first computer game i've ever gotten. It was a really fun game, a little confusing for me at the time, but a fun game. You got these eggs that hatched into little creatures which had real DNA in them. You could mate the creatures together, and they'd have eggs which hatched into babies. There were tons of features i can't get into detail about, like you could give them all kinds of items and food, and you actually taught them how to talk, with whatever words you used. If the creature was holding something, you would type the word you'd want to call it, and overtime it would learn it. They also had enemies that would try to attack them, and the world was pretty big and interactive. It had amazing features being a game made in 1996. There's been a few sequels that came out after too, with 3d graphics instead of the traditional 2D.
Well here's the link of the official site for it. gamewaredevelopment.co.uk/games_index.php[/L]
Just wondering if anyone knows what happened to the company making it, or what's going on with it. I think it was removed off the release list, but I never found out why.
