General Chat / Football fanatics - help me!

Hi, I am going to join my Highischool football team. The problem is I never really followed football so I don't know a lot about it. I have heard numerous suggestions that I should play 'safety'. I know what position it is and the job, but if anybody could provide me with detailed information about it, I would greatly apperciate it. Any links, videos, or images would definetly help. Thanks!
