Nintendo Gaming / Mortal Kombat

Hey everone.
My mortal Kombat doesnt load the intro movie and the rest of the game correctly if I have the WaveBird in port 1. But it is fine with the other controllers.

Anyone know why this is happening or what to do about it?

P.S. Problem doesnt occur with other games.
