nobody in my family plays games anymore. My bro is the only one. Sometimes sports, racing, or halo. Other than that nobody plays.

ATTENTION.
The one that you have to open it up does NOT connect to your PC. It lets you keyboard/mouse connect to your xbox. I just read that.

I think that they already know that MS is "wasting" money on the box. But for some reason when MS "wastes" more money on it and then the stockholders see what was the money for they seem to support it. waird ain it

Well i dont think they have given out that info. But right now i think that they lost around 100 Million on the whole gaming deperment. Wich aslo includes all the PC games. And knowing the games for MS on the PC then all the losses had to come from the box and prolly its more than that. And i think this includes all the buy out and everything. Oh by the way, i belive this doesnt include the live network since they used around 2 billion dollars on that.

WOW. that opening thing and sodering sounds to complicated heres some another(esier) version if you want to try this one.

I think you just download the software and thats it. oh and dont cut the controller cord just cut the little connector, in that case you can get different controlles on the PC(s, duke, mad cats). and if one of the other controlles breaks you just throw it away and keep the connector for the that was used for the PC.
And no this isnt BS, the xbox is based on the usb interface.

I used to have morrowind but i sold it. Didnt have the time for it. Im kinda sorry that i did though cuz i see all the threads on the xbox forum and just how deep this game is. I was also a wood elf. I tend to be elf in rpg games. The are the best. They are archers, pretty good in magic, and aslo have decent melee skills. And they are also very agile. But if you want to see all kinds of characters go to teamxbox.com, if you havent done so already, and post it there. Itll be flooded with responses.

I alreay have xbox and a gamecube so im not biased.
I suggest that you wait after E3. supposedly they are going to have a smaller xbox and also a pricedrop. Youll be beating yourself if you get the big one and then like a month later the little one comes out even cheaper. And yes xbox is worth the purchase. Now if you're into rpgs you might be better off with the PS2. Xbox tends to have action games. And then it aslo has the games wich gamers just LOVE. Gunvalkyrie, enclave, Dead to right, Splinter cell, Panzer dragoon orta, Shenmue, Morrowind, RARE, and it would also give you a bigger library of games. And if you have broadband you HAVE TO get an xbox. Especially with Capcom vs SNK out and Return to castle wolfeintein on the horizon. And halo 2 and true fantasy live ready for this xmas season. And on top of that all the sports games.
And about halo: if you are going to buy the box JUST becuase of this, then dont, but if you wanna go online or there are some interesting games on it then go for it. And no Halo on the PC will NOT support online play. how do i know this, cuz everyone at the the xbox forum would have alredy made 100 threads about that. And no it will NOT be better looking on the PC either. Maybe resolution but thats it. And if you alredy have friends who have halo on the box, then go ahead and get it. I dont understan people who say "I will DIE before you see me touch an xbox controller with a 10-foot pole"
I mean WTF? I mean i tend to go for the games, not the system. I have an xbox and a cube and i enjoy them both very much. Im trying to cut back so i can get a PS2 and its AAA titles. Dont be such fanboys(to everyone not just nintendo's) and just play the games. Every system has really good games.
And to the comments about how the architecture of the xbox sucks: Yeah, so? Doesnt it produce the best graphics and effects??? and do you open up you're box and look at the inside while you're playing??? And besides it fits very nicely on top of my reciever and vcr.
I pity all the ones who say that they HATE MS/sony and theyll never buy a product from them. You are missing out on a lot.
