General Gaming / Miyamoto's Next Game, will it be at the show?

Miyamoto's new game is Fear. It was announced along with Ground Zero (which I'm assuming is Game Zero).

"Turns out that the new game Giest is actually the game "Fear" that was mentioned on several sites lately. This according to IGN in there article on Nintendo's press conference."

Fear and Geist have two different plots. Unless the source that revealed Fear and Ground Zero got the information wrong, Fear is about a young boy that overcomes a new fear in every stage, each with it's own theme. That's not what Geist is about.

Holy crap, that's right! I forgot Mario Kart is finished! The graphics are going to be that bad  Seriously, those graphics just flat out suck. It doesn't look like a GameCube game. Dreamcast could easily push those graphics. Heck, Dreamcast could do 2 times those graphics.

But as long as it's fun it doesn't matter.

I was wondering if these boards will be pretty active during E3. I like active discussion of it as it's happening, it makes it more exciting. How long has Planet GameCube had message boards and how many members are there that actually post?

Only rumor I can think of is that the Mario Sports series will make our eyes pop out of our heads when we see them, according to some japanese magazine (forget the name). It was a reliable magazine, though. I read the news on IGN.

What I didn't like most is where Harrison said that Nintendo's E3 will be focused more on third-party games rather than their own. Can't we have the same amount of both!? Why must they detract from Nintendo's own brilliant games?

Nintendo Gaming / Sonic Team exclusive game and Mother 1 + 2 with 3 hinted!

News today rocked. The game Bill Hatcher and the Giant Egg was announced today by Sega. It's a Sonic Team GameCube exclusive and it's supposed to be really cool. Just read about it! I can't wait to see this game at E3!

And then I see something about the Mother/EarthBound games. Apparently Earthbound 1 + 2 will be coming to GBA! Sweet! They even have the japanese commercial up for download and they say Mother 3 is teased at the end of it. Awesome! It BETTER come out on GC.

Nintendo Gaming / Would it be all that great if Nintendo was number one?

One of the reasons I wouldn't like them to be in first is because a lot of people I know would probably have Nintendo's system and wouldn't want to play it with me since they have it and got tired of it. I wouldn't mind getting more games and Nintendo doing great.

Not saying this would happen, but so many people I know have a PS2 and it's really annoying.

If Nintendo was in the lead in the console wars, would it really be that great? I mean, everyone you know would have a GameCube and you could no longer rub it in their faces all the great games you get to play  

What do you think? What do you think it would be like if Nintendo was #1 again  and how would you feel?

Oh yeah, YOU HAVE TO GET ANIMAL CROSSING!!! Well, only if you liek those sorta games. I don't own it but I'm really wanting to play it. I'm gonna wait for Animal Crossing 2 because I have other stuff to buy, but it's such an awesome game. I rented it and never got bored. There isn't much to do but it's so incredibly addictive. It's chilidish and that's strangely one of the things that makes you keep coming back. It makes you feel comfortable. And getting new stuff for your house and such is so much fun for some reason. I really want Animal Crossing but I'll have to wait until 2

Eternal Darkness is probably my favorite one player game I own for GameCube and Super Smash Bros. is probably the best multi-player game I've ever played followed by Mario Party. Super Smash Bros. Melee is my favorite fighter (I'm not a big fan of fighters, though) because it is FAST. You can roll past people and double jump and get smash moves...... aaahhh. In fact, last night my brothers, my brothers's friend and I were playing it and we played for more than 3 hours.  Eternal Darkness is fun because it's a serious game that I actually like. It has a Nintendo feel and that's why I like it so much. It has insane replay value.

Don't be too sad, the game is half sucky. I've only gotten pas tthe second dungeon but so far I'm disappointed. It is fun, just not as fun as I would like and definitely not as fun as other people make it out to be. Heck, I had more fun with Skies of Arcadia Legends, which wasn't super great and I am now selling. Yeah, it was fun but there was nothing special about it. It was lacking in the story department. And I don't like RPGs anyway. Most of them. Don't worry about Zelda. It's all right. Not perfect. Worth about $25. Just play Metroid Prime while you wait. Do you even have Metroid Prime. Gosh. Well. Bye.

It is Metal Gear Solid 4, not three

Just a couple of days ago, GamerFeed reported the news that Metal Gear Solid 4 would be a GameCube exclusive. We thought it to be a bit strange since we hadn't heard much of anything about MGS 3. We even considered the possibility that the French magazine had printed a typo and actually meant MGS 3.

As it turns out, the Official French Nintendo Magazine is confirming that they indeed meant MGS 4, and that it is a GameCube exclusive. Furthermore, the magazine indicated that the GameCube may also still receive ports of the original MGS or MGS 2. Yes, ladies and gents, Snake is definitely slithering his way onto Nintendo's console.

That's all well and good, and will leave many a fanboy quite happy, but it still doesn't clear up the matter of exactly what is happening to MGS 3. It has been speculated that the third game may already be in development for PlayStation 2 and/or Xbox. However, that hasn't been confirmed just yet. For now, we'll just have to wait for some official word from Konami. In the meantime, GameCube owners rejoice! Hideo Kojima loves you too!

And if most of these aren’t going to be shown (ALL of them probably aren’t) then most of them will. Game companies want to show off what they have and we know Nintendo will more than likely show off lots of games. Each game company has it’s own booth and they probably want it to be a booth with a lot of games.
