It's the same scenario as the Wii. The console will be a generation behind in raw power, and that means you'd have to go out of your way to make a special, downgraded Wii U version of your game. I guess people wanted PS3/360 ports as well, but most developers are done with those consoles and many are about to ship their final game before they shift completely over to the next Xbox and Playstation. Who's gonna take the time to learn a brand new system just to get a single port out there before it's time to throw it in the garbage?
Except that missing the boat last time didn't matter as any third party that didn't go broke was just fine supporting the other systems, regardless of how many consoles Nintendo sold. Missing one boat means squat when there are three other boats in the port going to the same destination.
Only a lot of those third parties that didn't shut down, still lost a lot of money because of their lack of Nintendo support. If the 720/PS4 are huge power increases over the 360/PS3, they're just going to make dev cost rise even higher then they currently are and the current dev cost are already way to high for many third parties. If current 360/PS3 cost are enough to make these studio's still lose money, then what will 720/PS4 cost do to them?
In other words, they might have still been able to survive last gen by not supporting Nintendo, but if dev cost rise even higher, they might not end up so lucky this gen.
The more I think about it, the more this appeals to me. I use a Mac, which limits the amount of PC games I can play without hassle. I don't need a full PC, because the only thing I'd want to do with it is play games; everything else I can already do with what I have. Depending on price and how open it is to non-Steam games this might be right up my alley.
Personally don't need an SD. Just 16GB local and cloud storage for the rest.Absolutely. And that's why I love my Nexus 4. I've been taking advantage of my Google Drive cloud storage space, and if I chose to (but don't really need as I don't use a phone as a music player), I'd upload my music collection to Google Music - then stream it through my phone's Music app.
I've been thoroughly impressed with this phone, and I'm very happy I didn't stick with Apple and go with an iPhone 5.
What do you mean? I can find an article with Capcom explaining it, but you can transfer save files between the 3DS and Wii U versions so you can play it at home, then transfer the save to the 3DS version to play on the road (and vice versa). You still need both versions of the game, but you can share the same save file.
Oh ha har.
And don't get me wrong, I like podcasts, just not the ones NWR made. I did like that Connectivity episode, but it might be because I haven't listened to the ones before it.
Not a bad headset but if Ithink if you can you should try to go Nexus with android, Not the biggest fan of sense and touchwiz myself.just get the optimus g, the nexus 4 is literally a gimped version
Anyway cues starts next well and were about to see stupid 5 and 6 inch smart phones.
Pokemon Generations. Its a re-release that will allow you to go through all the games from the originals to the most modern. The twist is that your character choices will ripple through all of them. When you progress to the next one you get a reset to the start as a new character with perks from your previous one.
An eShop new Pokemon Snap for WiiU be nice.
Maybe they did it to make money, but they really did need to do the remakes as there was no other way to get those Pokemon in the new games.theres the two gamecube games just spread them all in there
I wouldn't be counting on a gen 3 remake. IMO the first two were only made because the original GBC games were incompatible with the new data structure of gen 3 onward.
I think we're most likely going to be seeing another spinoff
All Vita games are available digitally. Sony requires it. I'd be surprised if they didn't do the same with the PS4.
And you notice the barren wasteland of Vita games? Publishers hate being required to do anything.
That's because of poor console sales. The Vita is a sinking ship. It's doing worse than the PSP.
