We all know that Xenoblade Chronicles X is big, but just how big is it? We've done the math, and we're ready to share our results.

In the above video we show you how much larger Xenoblade Chronicles X is than the highly regarded Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, but we'll also take a look at how it compares to next-gen open worlds such as Fallout 4 and The Witcher 3. The results are nothing short of amazing.

If Nintendo can finish it in time, they should put Xenoblade Chronicles X as the big Pre-Black Friday release. Nintendo needs to advertise the hell out of it and get people who normally wouldn't pick it up interested. I also would give the first Xenoblade Chronicles as a free Wii download to all people who pre-order. Two amazing RPGs for the price of one. In fact, Nintendo should throw in Earthbound and Earthbound Beginnings. Get every single Wii U owner to pick it up. DO THIS NINTENDO!!!! DO IT!!!!!

Also, I am happy they are delaying Star Fox. I don't think it would have had sales even close to Mario 3D World (especially with mediocre review scores). I also expect Star Fox to now get the magic May release date that Mario Kart 8 and Splatoon received.

Sanzaru's Mat Kraemer was kind enough to speak with NWR about Sonic Boom: Fire and Ice. We learned that the team at Sanzaru is listening closely to fan critiscism of their previous Sonic 3DS title. They've eliminated the maze like design of the first game and have created a much more linear experience. Also, the controls for Sonic have been made to feel much more like classic Sonic.

Before designing the levels, they looked at the maps of old sonic titles like Sonic Rush and the Genesis titles. They've also added Mutant Mudds like Challenge levels.

We also briefly spoke with Sanzaru about Sly Cooper and the possibility they will make another game in the series.

Sega is bringing a slew of Sega Genesis classics to the Nintendo 3DS later this Summer.

Sega will continue it’s line of 3D Classics this Summer with three Sega Genesis favorites, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Streets of Rage 2, and Gunstar Heroes.

In addition to stereoscopic graphics, Sega promises each of the games will include new modes and features. In the first wave of 3D Classics, new features included the ability to spin dash in the original Sonic the Hedgehog and a Super Dolphin Mode in Ecco the Dolphin.

The release line-up for SEGA 3D Classics in North America and Europe currently stands as:

3D Fantasy Zone II (April 16)
3D Thunder Blade (May 14)
3D Streets of Rage 2 (July)
3D Gunstar Heroes (August)
3D Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (September)

The games will retail for $5.99 on the eShop.

2014 has been another year where Nintendo had its ups and downs, but regardless of how well the 3DS or Wii U is selling, we still played some amazing games on those systems. So, let's sit together and celebrate our 10 favorite games of the year.

The following games are presented in no particular order. These are just games we loved and want to talk about. If you really want to know though, this list was forged in the deep, dark pits of Death Mountain where a group of our staff argued and bickered for hours, barred from emerging until the list was down to 10.
