Ya, they never said it was going to be a launch title.  It was always launch window even as far back as their gamer day earlier this year.

I've been visiting PGC ever since right before it got the name with the cube launch.  I've seen some of the highs and lows of the site.

True my presence here on the boards has greatly diminished since starting my work at AMN, but I still check the site daily. (I still don't have 1000 posts yet I don't think.)  I've met some good friends here and the staff is always good for some goofing off with as well.  I'm proud to say I've met a few of them at E3 and GDC over the last few years.

I'm glad the site has been able to maintain for the most part with all the changes that have gone on.  I'm definitely looking forward to the improvements that are planned for the site.  Its been in its current form for far too long .

Best of luck to Evan and Steven in their new roles.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Is this a cheap Micro?
« on: October 16, 2006, 04:33:15 PM »
Many places are selling Micro's at $50 each right now.  Whether it comes from Nintendo as a way of clearing out inventory or they just aren't selling at retail who knows.  I still want to import the Famicom from JPN though, the box is uber better than the US one.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Wii Calculator - how much will you spend?
« on: October 16, 2006, 04:22:05 PM »
Damn, I'm looking at spending over $740 with my local 8.25% sales tax.
-Wii
-1x Wiimote
-1x Nunchuck
-1x Retro controller
-Excite Truck
-Elebits
-Metal Slug Anthology
-Rayman
-Red Steel
-Zelda
-Trauma Center

However I also want to try Madden, Tony Hawk, Monkey Ball, Far Cry, and Blitz. Might just rent those from work though after a couple weeks or so when they are free for me.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Am I screwed? Should I already have pre-ordered?
« on: October 16, 2006, 12:54:24 AM »
I know I'm going to be camping this year for my Nintendo console too.  I did it for Cube as well.  Places like Toys R Us, Walmart, Circtuit City, K-Mart, Target usually will not do preorders and you can line-up or walkin at opening and pick on up.  Thankfully for my I have each of those stores right near my house.

watch mid next month. should be some infos coming by then.

Ya, the D-Terminal name comes from the Cube end of the cable.  The gender adapter will change it from Male->Female so that it will hook up to the monitor.  It should work with many CRT monitors as well.  You just disconnect it from your computer and connect the two cables together.

Its this cable here http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-24-49-en-70-ll.html.

This is the same one that just came out in JPN like a month ago that is selling faster than the first one right?

You will most likely have to get a gender adapter from you local computer store or Radio Shack which should run you a couple bucks.  But it goes from the digital out on the cube, the the VGA input on my monitor.  Thankfully my LCD has a DVI and VGA input so that I can leave my computer on and just switch the input selector.

Good RE4 shots of Ada, there.  <3

I belive Pro is capturing through his computer hardware, of which I don't thinkg he has component connections for with his hardware.  But yes, you are right, component is the highest quality option.

i'm glad i imported that d-terminal cable to play pro-scan on my lcd monitor...or ran via s-video the rest of the time. my eyes would burn especially with Wind Waker.

Apparently this analyst group has had a very very bad track record.  They've "guestimated" many things wrong and lost investors and such.

Hahaha, I also have Ghostbusters 2 and Adventures of Tom Sawyer (who throws rocks for weapons).  Good times I had with those growing up.
