I hope the networks take this time to open their arms to more shows from other countries.
Its time to stop remaking UK shows and just air the originals.
American TV sucks, time to bring over more shows from Canada, UK, Australia and Japan.

So what does everyone think of the UK versions of stuff like The Office?

Superior in every way.

Oh and GP, merit based pay for teachers is absolute fail. You cannot measure teacher performance in any objective way.

TalkBack / RE: Grasshopper Behind Decision to Tone Down EU No More Heroes

I got this idea from the fact that the GDC trailer had no swearing in it and the trailer Suda showed at GO3 a month or so later in Australia was exactly the same yet featured a lot of swearing. The swearing made the acting seem way less corny, they were actually mad now, not just sounding ridiculous.

You've got a long way to go. You can say fcuk after 8:30 here.

As far as I can tell though, the American version wont have swearing in it. This is crazy, I am so angry.

Clearly they should put the idea balls back in the manatee's tank. That'll end this writer's strike. When the Family Guy manatees cross, everyone will.

Guess what, if the writers want more of that profit maybe they should invest in stock especially for a medium that still is untested when it comes to profitability.

OH NOES NOT THE SHAREHOLDERS! And why should the writer's be asking for money for their work when really they should be gambling their fortune on the stock market.

Oh yeah totally. I mean those policman, nurses and teachers. Who do they even think they are? Saving our lives, protecting us and educating us, when was the last time any of those did us any good? You're right in believing that these thieves, collecting less than the median wage deserve any more, especially when we're already giving them our contempt for free.

But everyone knows that Nintendo make their products out of Nintendonium, an unbreakable mix of plastic and silicon, infused with the blood of one thousand virgin puppies.

LOL at pro and cons. Machines guns being only good up close and headshots being crucial is the whole point of FPS games.

Oh MASSIVE. We're gonna be betting money on this one drunk at home. Real money, not coins rubbish.

How epic would it be if nintendo published complete breakdowns of all statistics. What characters are most used etc for the ENTIRE ONLINE SERVICE HISTORY?! Like they have that spreadsheet thing for your local matches but image that one online, with breakdowns for every stage! I'd spend days just analysing that, Smash Broads losers will cry at the levelness of the default ruleset.

i just dont think im cut out for the "9-5" life..

First of all, you're not doing 9-5, you're doing 6-5 and that's a much bigger commitment. Secondly no one really does 9-5, not even public servants.
Anyway that's not the point I should be making. You are cut out for the working life. You need to tell yourself this, daily if need be. Feelings of inadequecy will not help you right now, instead they'll only lead to depression and mental illness. Only then will you not be cut out for it.
