Nintendo Gaming / Actual Wind Waker Sequal News
« on: December 31, 2003, 09:14:56 AM »
The time is drawing closer to when Nintendo will be leaving little hints on purpose or accidentaly concerning the sequal to LOZ: The Wind Waker.  I've decided to start this topic because I didn't see anything similar to it on the hylian legends forum.  This is for actual news articles and information based on the sequal to the game.  This thread is not for speculation or rumors or your opinion ( well, unless your opinion is concerning the articles or news)

You're encouraged to scour ligitimate news sources and give a summary or tell us where to go to find the article.  Of course, please don't steal bandwidth, and more importantly, don't plagiarize.

If this thread in any way violates the forum rules, then feel free to lock it mods (Of course, I don't have to tell you guys that, but whatever).  I apologize in advance if it does.

General Gaming / The new and improved X-box, X-box Light?

Rumor has it that X-box has been redesigned to be smaller, lighter, and cheaper, a whole 100 dollars cheaper and will be released either late this year, or sometime next year.  What do you think?

Nintendo Gaming / Ye olde cel-shaded debate, again.
« on: March 03, 2003, 07:32:42 AM »
Okay, I know this is an old debate, but I didn't see any topics generally defined for it in the Zelda forum so here goes.

I saw this quote on Nintendo's website about why the cel-shaded Zelda is better:  "The series' classic mix of sword-swinging action, perplexing puzzles and stirring story lines remains intact while the new toon-rendered graphics enable the characters of Link's world to be the most lively and expressive personalities gamers have ever seen."

This doesn't cut it for me.  Programmers can put what they want in games no matter what they look like.  I have some more I'd like to say but I want to leave it open for debate.
Shoot.

General Gaming / Final Fantasy X-2.
« on: February 07, 2003, 02:14:35 PM »
As some of you may know, Square will be producing one of the first direct sequals to any Final Fantasy game.  Final Fantasy X-2 will feature Yuna, the now ex-summoner.  Rikku, Yuna's cousin,  will be another playable returning character and possibly others will be returning as well.
This thread is here for people to give their thoughts on the game and propose some speculation about it.
Personally, I am very excited about an actual sequal to a Final Fantasy game.  I've always wanted this for the FF series and now its finally happened.  They couldn't have picked a better FF game to make a sequal for.
So give your thoughts.
