Fire Emblem Fates sells 300,000 copies in the US in it's first 3 days, making it the best US launch for the Fire Emblem and a 5 times stronger launch than Awakening which presumably sold 60,000 copies in it's first 3 days. Out of the two versions Birthright sold the best but Conquest still "came close behind".

Good news, teitoku! The oft-delayed and seemingly-underwhelming Vita adaption of the Kantai Collection browser game has sailed to the top of the charts! Maybe the more interesting Sega arcade game will get a home port. Project Setsuna is the Square Enix game made by the new Tokyo RPG Factory. The game was teased in Square Enix's E3 2015 presentation and fully revealed during TGS 2015.

Congrats to Fire Emblem Fates getting a rocket start in North America! I hope to get my Special Edition soon.

Nintendo of Europe's twitter account has tweeted that Tomodachi Life has sold 2 million copies in Europe, since December 2015 we know it's sold 4.89 million worldwide and 1.8 million of those were in Japan, so roughly guesstimating this is how it sold in each region.

Interesting nugget from Famitsu via Oscar Lemarie on twitter: "the [Minecraft] digital only PS4 SKU for the whole year of 2015 (including launch) is ~ 160k. Wii U [version] nearly caught that in 2 months."

People turn 17 every month.

Apparently the PS4 sold 400,000 consoles this month with the biggest releases being Far Cry Primal and Naruto (believe it!). And I guess a lot of people take the opportunity to update KIRBY'S EPIC YARN when they do.
