Bring more creations to life next month.

The popular, insane and addictive eShop game, Freakyforms: Your Creations, Alive! is getting a full retail upgrade in the form of Freakyforms Deluxe, set to release on July 28 across Europe.

The deluxe version of the game will feature an RPG mode allowing you to navigate your Formee creations through dungeons in search of chests containing new abilities, while battling other Formees and boss characters along the way.

Also new to this retail version are multiplayer options, QR codes to unlock additional content, and StreetPass functionality allowing players to share their freaky creatures with one another, much like the original version. The game promises to include plenty of new content for those who already own the original.

I didn't bite on the eShop version - seemed too much of a toy and not much of a game. For a reasonable price, I could see myself getting this deluxe edition down the line, as it does look more substantial.

bad idea.

This game is the definition of a niche title  and won't sell even for a discounted price, being digital suits it well, so why make this when they can just do an update for e-shop game, oh yeah they want money but that won't happen because its a niche title. stupid nintendo

No way! First of all, Scribblenauts and Drawn to Life were pretty popular, and this is the same sort of thing. 2nd point, this is one of the most popular games on the eShop - it is the second most popular original 3DS download in Europe. If it sells that well on the eShop, it is likely to be popular at retail. 3rd point, Europe only has a 50% internet connection rate, so half of all 3DS owners cannot buy the game at the moment. 4th point, I really don't see how this is a niche title. This will sell in huge amounts, your comments are unfounded.
