Gonna have to agree with Mop it up. It can become expensive to gun if you don't have a good amount of money. There has been a few people that have gunned through online but you have to have specialized armor sets and guns for each of the star quests. By that I mean to have to have a gun set up that will work versus all the quests at that level of Star quests. I can probably come up with something for whatever rank you are at but it helps if you can get the parts for it.

When you gun is it turret style or can you aim with the pointer?

There isn't any pointer controls for the bowgun. You use the d pad to aim. You can either manually aim without using the quick aim. You move where you want to aim. Whatever your gun is aiming at is where your shots go. The quick aim gives you a cursor that you can move around with the dpad and fire your shots with more precision. With the quick aim you have to exit out of it to move anywhere.

So its Turret Style. I haz Wireless Keyboard now and I just tested that it works. Which it does so no more Super Slow typing.

Good hunts Ceric. Glad we could beat your Rank 2 urgent. I'd work towards the Thunder Lance Ceric since that can help get your ice lance.

Yeah, Stopped 620 from HR18. I think I'm just lacking the 9 Dragonite Ore. Once I have that I can make the Acrus lance. I'm Excited about getting a Long Sword. Haven't played with that weapon type yet. Its sort of interesting.

It was a good hunt. We finished all the lvl 2 Hunts. I do sort of think its weird that I have all the Lvl 1's done and the Lvl 2 done. All the urgent's and that doesn't open up lvl3. Can't say I agree with that.

I guess it comes down to balance and pace of the game. You could beat all of the quests but you might not be able work on some armor sets or weapons if you rush through the game. This way you can work on things a little longer. You are kinda lucky you are finishing all the quests early. Some people are missing some quests still. Most of them are advanced quests but so far you are knocking them out.

I always liked the Ironbreard commericials. They are so entertaining.

Does anybody else watch any video podcasts of Monster Hunter Tri? I recently came across a few new ones and they are interesting to watch.

The only thing I've watched was a good basics on Armor set of Videos and a Cha-Cha guide both by SocialDissonance

Yeah his can be pretty good if you are learning the basics.

Few other podcasts I watch is the welldone podcast on youtube. They just put out their 10th episode and they have a new guest each episode from members from capcom unity. Part 9 has Shepard in it. Another good one is the Hunting After Dark podcast. Both are podcasts from members of Capcom-unity. Just today another one showed up with their first episode called My Fair Hunter.The premise is that there is 2 players and one is an expert and one is someone new to the game and the expert teaches the new player how to play the game. First episode was about sword and shield, gathering, and combining. It kinda starts slow but it picks up later in the episode.
