Did anybody want to play today? I recently crossed over HR300 so if you guys want to play let me know. I know there is a few hunters that need to break through their urgents to get up to HR51. I'll probably be able to play on Monday,Tuesdays,Thursdays, and Fridays over here. While Wednesdays and Sundays I'll be over in the chat at Nintemple.com helping out some new players rank up.

I still play as well though my times can be a bit spotty during the day. There's nothing that I really need though I've been debating working on a new fire resistant armor that would fair better against Agna.

Uragaan + with the low rank legs could work. The only real skill that might benifit the hammer is Punishing Draw.If you have a 2 hearing charm then you can fill up all the slots with hearing gems and that will give you earplugs. The other possible option is the sword saint earring and the rest low rank Rathlos. The sword saint earring gives you the skill minds eye which can help land triple pounds on agna's harden skin. Otherwise you would have to charge for a super pound to damage the harden skin.
Small note about bouncing. The switchaxe in sword mode never bounces when attacking tough parts on a monster.

Does anybody want to play in about 45 minutes? I plan on getting on then. I just made an evasion Lancing set with my evasion 7 and no slot charm. Skills it has is Sharpness+1,evasion + 1, earplugs and speed sharpening.This setup might work well with most weapons.

Sounds doable. My Rath set has earplugs so it would be nice to keep that around though Agna doesn't whine as much as other screaming monsters. I don't mind super pounding cold Agna. It's still effective especially when someone puts in a request for claws.

You need Hunter King coins to get that earring made, right?

Yeah 3 hunter king coins,3 royal Ludroth coins, 3 Barioth, and 5 Diablos coins.I'm on right now.I just soloed a high rank uragaan just now. Took way too long.

I think the next thing I need to get better at is Pierce gunning. I can't quite get the distance right for the shots to be effective. I mainly want to get better because I want to pierce gun Giant Jho without dieing.

Just did some cluster Ala runs just now to get some webbings and I was lucky enough to come across 3 other cluster gunners. Our fastest time was 2:53. I had never beaten normal Ala before quicker then 15 mins before.Everyone was saying how the 4 min times we were getting before the 2:53 runs were slow and well I was just amazed at getting below a 15 min mark on Ala since I have never had 3 other cluster gunners before with me when I was fighting Ala.

Also the event quests changed.Super Ala is up as well as double diablos. If you need Skypiercers now is the time to farm for them since you don't need to break the horns to get them.
