Thanks again for the hunts, Maxi. I feel like I'm doing better with sword & shield... but still not dealing enough damage. Getting the hang of it though.

We are in the midst of getting everything packed. The Wii might stay out for a couple days (maybe until mid-week?) but we're also trying to sell the TV before moving. If that happens it will make getting online again this month impossible. If I get more time to play, I'll post here. Right now it's tough to say what will happen.

Fair enough ejamer. I do like your idea with Punishing draw and the sword and shield.Generally when I use the sword and shield if I want to exaust a monster I throw in the shield bash and mix up my combos. I usually shield bash and then do the + button attack. Combo is short but it mixes exaust with the sword and shields most powerful single attack.Whenever a monster is in a shock trap and I am near the tail I use the vertical attacks if its tail is within my reach. Otherwise I just do the main combo.Mix up things when you use the sword and shield.

And that's it. Everything gaming-related is packed now and we'll be moving in just over a week... but who knows how long before everything gets unpacked (and we'll need to find a TV as well). Too bad: was starting to feel like real progress was being made with the S&S techniques.

Thanks again for your recent help Maxi and Damsel. I'll check and see if anyone is still playing once I am able to game again.

Quite the opposite: the "levee" in my backyard broke down recently, so I've been rebuilding it over the weekends. Taking an hour or two to rest during the midday is perfect, but otherwise I need to work during daylight.

The event quests changed a few minutes ago.

Super Ala is up now.Have to be HR51.Great quest to get Sky piercers.Double Diablos, Flood Forest free for all and a few others is up.
