Wow its been a little while since anybody posted in this topic. Probably tomorrow I'll get back to playing regularly. I'll post when I get on sometime tomorrow. There is still some people on here that need help with some things. Don't like to leave them hanging.

I'd be willing to play tonight as well if anybody wants to.

I have nearly beaten Galaxy 2, Other M and Murmasa and I need a little time to finish Red Steel 2 and Epic Mickey, so my Monster Hunter gaming might be on hiatus for a while.

I forgot I had Red Steel. Once I got this game it's been gathering dust...

Anyways, I still play just not as much. There's nothing that I'm in dire need to get done as that Soul Hunter Jacket is mostly for kicks. Wanted to try a different approach with Double Diablos & get an ice lance but Barioth as been stingy with his claws. Can you get normal claws on upper rank Barioth or is that a lower rank only item?

Ah so it is lower only. Would explain the +Claws I've been racking up. Well at least I should have the upper rank parts for it already.

Well I figured out a way to get these 3 skills on a set. Sharpness+1, Awakening, and Elemental attack up. There is 2 ways. First way you can use 3 slotted weapons and the second way you can use 2 slotted weapons as well as 3 slotted weapons.

Here is the armor.
Lagi+ helm
Lagi+ mail
Lagi+ arms
Vangus Coil
Lagi+ legs.
a 2 handicraft tali. This way is for the the 3 slot weapon. In the mail you want a 4 handicraft gem. I put the 1 awakening gem in the helm and the elemental gem in the legs. The rest of the slots I put handicraft gems to get it to Sharpness+1 The 3 slot weapon has to have that 4 handicraft gem in it.

Now to use 2 slotted weapons you have to have a 3 slot tali with this set up. Same gem setup as above but you have the 4 handicraft gem in the tali. Everything else is the same.

Tested to see if I had the materials on hand to make the armor. Looks like I just need lower rank claws & 2 sapphires.

Just not sure what monsters I could use it for. Iron Impact might make a nice ice hammer for Diablos hunts.

I might return to acollocate my resources from beatin Alatreaon to beating Caedeus. This would mean that I want to upgrade my Lagiacrus armor, gain an Agnaktor lance and build up my supplies like mega dash juices.

I can do that though lately I've been getting into Warhammer 40K(the tablestop, not the MMORPG or RTS) so the later evening/night are the best times for me on Saturday.

Been itching to try out my new Ala set.
