I wish I could have recorded that first Two Flames run me & Maxi did. We scored high on style points let alone the fact that no one fainted.

The finish brought it home when we both ended with spirit slash combos & found ourselves standing back to back like some action movie duo.

By the way, anyone here use Skype? I was thinking about getting that set up using the Headbanger headset with it since the Wiispeak is y'know, bad.

Yeah I tried warping to you but I got an error and when I came back on you were gone.

Thanks again for the game, Maxi and Mop. In case it wasn't totally clear, I'm hot because of my inability to move when fireballs or other incoming ian/los attacks are headed my way. Some might even say flaming... although I prefer the former description.

Glad to play with you again ejammer. When you figure out which gunning set you want to use versus Ala let me know. Ala is weakest to Ice while on the ground and Dragon while in the Air. Cluster is another option as it can break the wings easily. It does a set amount of damage that isn't affected by how far away you are.If you go the cluster route go with Cluster 2 as you can carry the most materials for it.

Yeah last night I managed to get a sky piercer and Alatreon webbing so I was able to finish me Ala gunning armor. I made a rapid fire crag since I don't have a dedicated crag gun set.

Still thinking if the skills I have on it are good or not.

I have Bonus shot, Blightproof, evasion up, sneak, Crag all up, Combination Pro and Recovery down.

Bonus shot makes it so that I can have Rapid fire for shots depending on the gun I have. I currently have rapid fire Crag 1.
Blightproof makes it so none of the blights affect me.
Evasion Up makes me dodge further away than normal.
Sneak makes it so that the monster doesn't target me as much.
Crag all up adds 1 crag shot to each of the crag shots. Combination Pro makes it so that I can get the most out of my combines.
Finally Recovery Down makes it so that my healing items doesn't heal me as much. The only bad skill on there. Thinking instead of Combination Pro I could go with divine Blessing which can cut down on the damage I take which means that Recovery down won't be that much of a burden.

Is Combination Pro really worthwhile? The only things I've found to be risky combining in the field are net traps, and that's just because you only get 2 chances so even one failure is disappointing. I mean, it's a nice skill... but success rates seem high enough for most items and you can sometimes get a food boost anyway.

I've found Divine Blessing very useful. It's saved me from carting more than once, and has also reduced the amount of time and number of items I've wasted healing. With better defense and the Evasion+2 skill, maybe it won't be as good for you though.

Combo Pro is suppose to max out the output of combinations.I was thinking of Combo Pro for the Crag shots but The max output for crag 1,2, and 3 is one so it really would make a difference from what the norm is. Evasion Up is differnet from Evasion 2. Evasion 2 makes it so that you can evade through attacks easier. With evasion Up you basically have the same evasion invinciblity as you would without the evasion 1 and 2 skills. Evasion Up just makes you roll further than normal.
I'll try out Divine Blessing out on the set.

Oh also Super Ala will happening on Monday. Probably going to spend Sunday getting more Godbugs and scatterfish that day.So if you want to try to get up to HR 51 than Saturday would be a good day to do so for me or today.
