Don't worry about it ejammer. I cluster gunned with my new cluster gun setup and I died 2 times the first time. We won the first time.I was up on the wall cluster shooting and as I was nearing the end of my cluster 2 ammo the wall fell and Ala was doing its Dragon claw.Before I hit the ground I think a Hammer user hit it and that was the quest. Next time I brought Ancient and Max Potions to make sure I wasn't killed and Armor skin and adament seeds. Went good this time.Think I got hit once at the start then I used Ancient Potion to max out my Health and Stamina. After that I just cluster 2 and Dragon Shot Ala.Ran out of Cluster 2 and had like 5 Dragon shots left when it died. Shot it out of the sky with Dragon shot.

Finally got Alatreon Star. Now the rest of the Ala weapons I need Sky Piercers to upgrade fully.Namely the Long sword and Great sword.

Edit: I finally managed to upgrade all of my sets to max. I did the Rathlos and Barioth event quest. I kept on getting 3 Heavy armor spheres after the quest was done. On another note I am going to be working on a Rapid fire gun.Most likely elemental. Not sure if I want to go after Lagi+ or Ala armor.

I guess I can hop back on. I got enough Bathycite ore for the gun part. Made a Rapid fire fire,thunder,ice, and thunder gun set. I just have to swap out the gun for the different element that I want.

Please don't make me wait to long.

Well I was looking at my sets and was wondering how I could make them better and I only came across one that I think that could be made better. My Tundra hunting set. Instead of Negate poison and negate sleep I put Adreniline 2. Tried some runs versus Jho and I did decently but I need to work on Evasion lancing more. After that I was looking at my other sets and I figured I should try to make a rapid fire non elemental gunning set so I made most of the parts.Need one webbing and sky piercer to get the last two armor pieces. Running low on wyvern claws too.

Nah. We start the Double Trouble quest, go to the nest each player in a different corner. Once everybody is ready and there is no boss in the area, we start. The objective is to knock the other player down from the nest to the area below (5 is it?). If Rathian and Rathalos appear, then that just makes it harder to drop the enemy.

This is a "we are really bored" type of game, but hey, it works haha. I've seen it done with Jho too, so we can choose. The players that were eliminated by being thrown off go fight the monsters, we do want to finish the quest if possible

Oh yeah...there's a vid where all 4 hunters start in the secret spot on the Deserted Island & did that while Jho was waiting for them.

Yeah I think I posted that video when the game was just coming out in the other Monster Hunter Tri topic.

In anycase some new event quests have cycled around. Red hot Party, Flooded Forest Free for all, and double Diablos among others. Flooded forest free for all you can get the shadow shades which has 3 slots and 7 stun. Good quest to get zenny too.

Already got my shades & of course filling the slots with stun was a non-brainer.

Didn't see anyone on so had a go at it with 3 randoms. Took 3 tries to actually win & I didn't get a single Soulhunter tag for my troubles.

Me being the only blocker was one thing but a bowgunner with defense issues & a hammer guy that refused to take of his Jaggi mask? I probably should have just left after the 2nd(Jaggi mask guy had replaced another guy after the first)
