i thought nintendo said they were gonna release doshin in america in 2002?? will someone help me???

It came out in Europe i think, but never made it to America. America got Cubivore and Europe got Doshin the Giant.

i dont care what it looked like it just sounded like a cool game aspect , but yera it would be wierd for American mainstream gamers, do you have to have a mod chip to play imports on a gamecube?

Yeah, I have often considered importing the European version (whenever I have money of course).  Will the freeloader work with PAL games does anyone know?

Hey!

It's working for me. I have a US modded cube w/ an action replay (which included the freeloader v1.06b) and a UK copy of Doshin. Everything works perfectly
And since Doshin has a 60hz option (which is turned on by default), there's no B&W problem!

yep, it was all a special deal set by nintendo, Europe got Doshin the Giant, America got Cubivore, and Australia got screwed

Superlink, it does not have to cost you $125.  I bought it off ebay.  It was being shipped from the Uk and it cost me about $45 including shipping.  Also, the Freeloader disc is only $20, so total it is possible to get the whole thing for about $65.  Just go to ebay.  The seller I used was "atticbug" and they actually have a listing for a copy right now.  I have no clue how to set up the link but if you go to ebay it's there.  Anyway, this particular seller is very good.  They delivered to me in California in 5 days.

You can get it off of www.gameplay.com if you can't find it on eBay. That's the only place I've found the PAL release online recently.
