Several pre-order bonuses for Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire have been announced for the different regions.

In the UK, Pokémon fans can pre-order special Steelbook editions of the Hoenn remakes from the Official Nintendo UK store which feature the game in a special metal case and comes with a miniature figurine of either Primal Groudon or Primal Kyogre depending on the edition. Players can also pre-order the regular edition at GAME to receive these same figurines while those who choose to buy from ShopTo will receive a 2D key chain of Torchic instead.

Australian and New Zealand Pokémon fans can also nab these Primal figurines by pre-ordering at EB Games stores.

Two pre-order bonuses have also been confirmed in the US. GameStop will be offering an exclusive, two-sided poster for their pre-orders, and Toys R Us will be giving out a special Charizard plushie - valued at $22.99 - to fans who pick up both titles from their store.

UK got the better bonuses. I would kill for one of those steel bookcases. I would say the Charizard plushie is better, but you have to buy both games. Screw that.

So people bitch about Nintendo being out of touch and when they do something in line with the current trends they still bitch, can't have it both ways either Nintendo does their own thing or they follow the crowd.

I really wish the outlets in America would go back to making people excited for a pre-order bonus. Or that Nintendo would give something as well. I am greatful for the thought but when you keep getting upstaged this bad or keep giving the same things it looses its charm. We get ANOTHER poster, big surprise. but wait, it's double sided. so that's like giving us two posters but we are only allowed to ever hang one up.  and the plushi is not a bad idea from Toys'R'us, but you have to pre-order BOTH versions of the game. I will grab one on ebay.

Japan and UK get the statues of their respective games legendary pokemon AND that spiffy steelbook (idk if Jap. gets the steel book) if you pre-order BOTH in Japan at Pokémon center you get a really nice art book ON TOP OF the other bonuses. If you go through GAME, you get a cute little torchic key chain.
