It seems weird to me that they gave her stockings. I kind of wish they went the Man of Steel route and have Supergirl wear a unitard. I know the skirt has been part of the costume since forever, but I wouldn't have minded them ditching it.

Same with Wonder Woman in the DCCU. They just released some pics of her working out and... well, she is very pretty, but she has no definition, tone or muscle what so ever.
She could at least thicken up a little, unless Princess Diana the International Runway Model by day is the look they are going for.

I understand when you say that muscle size isn't necessary.  And technically that is true. The girls don't need to be full on body builders. That would be over doing it.  But I would at least like them to try and give them at least an athletic appearance.  Last  I saw Gal Gadot still has the whole fashion model thing going, certainly not what one expects from a super heroine, especially when one of her powers is strength.  I think Caity Lotz is probably a good example.



Some nice musculature and definition, but not a potential eyesore like Ms Olympia so it won't detract from the sex appeal they are obviously shooting for when leaving the bikini models in there.


Look at Henry Cavil up there.  The same principle could apply to him.  He could be as defintionless as I am and the super powers could easily explain his abilities.  Apparently someone felt it necessary to bulk him up a bit and I'm glad they did.  It just looks like a better fit.

Nobody looks as ripped as the comics, You would have negative body fat to look like that. **** even Xavier looks ripped in the comics and he is in a wheel chair.

She looks fiiinnneee  and I rather that she be able to act instead of the usual mistake of casting MMA fighters or a looker who can't act. Arnolds/Rocks are a rare find. It is also a lot easier to have an actor act like they can fight instead of trying to teach a fighter how to act.

The only thing I don't like about the look is it feels grim dark and has that Man of Steel texturing. The stockings are there to reduce the sexualization a little and to avoid the panty shot issue from the get go.

I much rather they make more stuff along the lines of Superman/Batman the Animated series, but those are more than likely a product of their circumstances and culture of the time. Too many shows today seems to be meth driven action and forgets about everything else.

I like this idea...but how in the world are they going to pull off Hawk Girl on a television budget? 

What I really hope happens...is I hope many of these ideas turn into limited series.  If CW could do a comic book series justice for 2-3 seasons TOPS, it would be a really cool way for DC to get exposure for all their characters...specially the obscure characters.  Then you can always hire special guest appearances of certain characters.
