I have an idea for a show: it's basically Seinfeld, but with black people. I should bring that to NBC.

Blame Tyler Perry.

You mean pitch it Tyler Perry?

I wonder if Marvel can say "Well, you didn't really make a Fantastic Four movie, so we get the license back."  ;)

Apparently Josh Trank (the director) said that synopsis is a load of **** on his Twitter.
Hope that means he is embarrassed and they are halting everything for another script rewrite, or that they had never finished the script to begin with and this movie is not actually ready to begin production.

I really hope this passes deadline as I really don't want to see the Fantastic Four inserted into the X-Movieverse

Yeah, that's an awkward fit at best.

Fox just needs to let it go, and max out X-Men.  Too much potential.

2 DC Characters have just been cast for The Flash TV series on The CW
http://www.deadline.com/2014/01/flash-casting-rick-cosnett-danielle-panabaker-cw/
Quote
The Vampire Diaries‘ Rick Cosnett and Danielle Panabaker (Shark) are set to co-star opposite Grant Gustin and Jesse L. Martin in the CW pilot The Flash, based on the DC comic. The project, from Warner Bros TV and Berlanti Productions, is an origin story about Barry Allen aka The Flash (Gustin), a Central City assistant police forensics investigator who FLASH_Arrow w copyarrives in Starling to look into a series of unexplained robberies that may have a connection to a tragedy in his past. Cosnett plays star Detective Eddie Thawne, a recent transfer to the Central City Police Department, whose past is a mystery and who harbors a dark secret. Panabaker plays Caitlin Snow, a highly intelligent bioengineering expert who lost her fiancé during an explosion at S.T.A.R. Labs. Originally envisioned as a backdoor pilot episode of Arrow, Flash will now film a regular pilot directed by David Nutter, a move clearly geared toward a series pickup.

Who are those 2 Characters you ask?
hover your mouse over their names in the article to find out.

We are still waiting to see who gets the role of the love interest Iris West.
My guess is that she will be of mixed descent, or light skinned in nature.

Toad and Quicksilver look the worst. Sunspot also looks wierd (large head, small body)
Future Sentinel looks not like a Sentinel at all, possibly shape shifting?

Blink looks fiiine. The only hot X-men cover. Future Magneto looks good too. and there is a shop of future Wolvie with the mask that also looks good.

I'm surprisingly okay with this. I've always said they needed to be physically differentiated from each other, what better way than via costume?

As for Wonder Woman, I'll believe it when: (1) Alexandra Daddario, who has been genetically manipulated to play WW, is cast in the title role; and (2) it's in theaters and I'm watching it.

Until then, no sale.

The models look cool, if a bit grotesque, but the main reason why TMNT was cool was because it was funny. It was a bunch of babies turned Ninja who had a hilarious view of the world. That was it. The turtle part was always in the back. In fact, the turtle part was satire as it was a blatant metaphor of their sheltered life.

I'll always be a fan of TMNT. I wish I still had my cereal bowls that changed colors when you added milk, but damn it, Micheal Bay. The TMNTs aren't cool because they kick ass; they're cool because they kick ass and ask a rat if they're ass kicking deserved pizza.

Some spoilers to post, I won't actually post them, but I'll let you know they exist if you're curious enough to look them up.

IGN has an Arrow spoiler for next week's episode. I'll just say that another Spartacus cast member joins the show, as a character that is part of something we've been waiting to see more of.

Comicbookresources has a potential spoiler for X-Men: Days of Future Past. I think it was posted by a forum member and not the site itself, but goes through the whole movie, so it may be false. I'll just say that according to the "leak" part of the movie takes place in actual history, a very famous party of American history, and that mutants were involved and that's why it still has so many conspiracy theories to this day.

What I put under the spoiler tags are more teases than spoilers, so feel free to read without actually spoiling anything.

And if you want me to save you the trouble if looking, I can post the spoilers. Just let me know.

A Million Ways to Die in the West (A Seth McaFarlane production)

Starring: Seth McFarlane, Charlize Theron, Liam Neeson, Neil Patrick Harris, Amanda Seyfried, Sarah Silverman & Giovanni Ribisi (you'll recognise him when you see him).
So many funny scenes in the trailer. Will watch in the theater.

Nothing I've seen from Eisenberg gives me the impression him being able to play a slick, cool, manipulator able to charm people while conveying the idea not to mess with him.

It sounds like they may take Lex the Social Network way then. Have him an arrogant genius full or petty jealousy and craving of self-worth. I prefer the S:TAS or even Smallville version frankly. But it's not my movie so I'll take it for what it is.
Whoever said, "Cheaters never win" must've never met Khushrenada.

Quote from: Press Release
BURBANK, CA, January 31, 2014 – Warner Bros. Pictures announced today that Jesse Eisenberg has been set to star as Lex Luthor and Jeremy Irons will play Alfred in the upcoming Zack Snyder untitled Superman/Batman film. The dual announcement was made today by Greg Silverman, President, Creative Development and Worldwide Production, and Sue Kroll, President, Worldwide Marketing and International Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures.

Snyder stated, “Lex Luthor is often considered the most notorious of Superman’s rivals, his unsavory reputation preceding him since 1940. What’s great about Lex is that he exists beyond the confines of the stereotypical nefarious villain. He’s a complicated and sophisticated character whose intellect, wealth and prominence position him as one of the few mortals able to challenge the incredible might of Superman. Having Jesse in the role allows us to explore that interesting dynamic, and also take the character in some new and unexpected directions.”

The director added, “As everyone knows, Alfred is Bruce Wayne’s most trusted friend, ally and mentor, a noble guardian and father figure. He is an absolutely critical element in the intricate infrastructure that allows Bruce Wayne to transform himself into Batman. It is an honor to have such an amazingly seasoned and gifted actor as Jeremy taking on the important role of the man who mentors and guides the guarded and nearly impervious façade that encapsulates Bruce Wayne.”

Snyder’s film stars Henry Cavill, reprising his role as Superman/Clark Kent, Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne, and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince. The film also reunites “Man of Steel” stars Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane.

The new film is currently being written by Chris Terrio, from a screenplay by David S. Goyer. Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder are producing, with Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Wesley Coller, David S. Goyer and Geoff Johns serving as executive producers.

The film is set to open worldwide on May 6, 2016, and is based on Superman characters created by Jerry Siegel & Joe Shuster, Batman characters created by Bob Kane, and Wonder Woman created by William Moulton Marston, appearing in comic books published by DC Entertainment.
