Topic: Why does GTA 4 look like ****?

After seeing the new GTA 5 trailers (which looks amazing), I'm reminded of how horrible GTA 4 looks. GTA 4 is blurry, with jaggies everywhere and an inconsistent frame-rate. Granted, I have the PS3 version, so I have no idea what the PC version is like.

Saints Row 1 came out before GTA 4,  yet it isn't a blurry mess with a horrible framerate.

GTA5 looks far more amazing than GTA4. Not only graphics but sound effect seems amazing. I am sure many people would agree with me on this point. The designers have done an amazing job with this new version!! You can get it from acheter gta 5.

My god...... It's simply incredible. I sometimes think that tendoboy's title might be a bit cruel but this is irrefutable evidence that it is completely accurate. He even posts in this thread that the title was a mistake. Despite realizing that fact, he's never edited the title to be correct and now thinks someone else changed it after all this time.

The reason GTA 4 looks like crap by today's standards is because Rockstar had to develop the RAGE engine from scratch. Grand Theft Auto V looks the way it does because it is a result of five years worth of work that perfected the original RAGE engine that made GTA 4. The first Tomb Raider and Resident Evil for PSOne look like crap compared to their later iterations for the same reason. People think that I make bad posts on this forum...

Vice City looks horrible. It's weird because when GTA4 came out I thought it looked amazing.
