That's really disappointing for Split/Second, because that game is pretty awesome.

To be frank, it was pretty foolish to release all these racers at the same time (with Modnation being the only slightly successful one at number 15). Not sure what they were expecting, especially doing so in a normally slow month like May.

I haven't played the game, but it has gotten great reviews. Sure beats the dating sims that typically show up in the Media Create top 10. I can't believe something like Red Dead Redemption got the top 2 spots, MAYBE barely making it to the top 10 is what should have happened.

NPD said back in May that that the numbers for May would be delayed to July since they were upgrading their technology base.

Probably because of E3.  They didn't want E3 to overshadow their announcement they make monthly.  They were afraid it'd get lost in the huge amount of news coming from E3.

I'm not so sure: NPD is pretty open about how it hates to give out even table scraps for free (see: anything from D. Reilly), and I'm fairly certain that the only reason we get even the Top 5 is to slow down the massive leaks that had occurred before they started giving out the Top 10.  I think they'd be indifferent to having their freebies get overlooked for a month.

...also, can't believe Dance On Broadway is already out. Way too soon, since Just Dance is still tearing up the charts.

I found that just dance to be actually kind of fun, though I doub't the game really could tell where my remote was going without a motion plus.

I hope Metroid other M does better than Prime games when it comes out, it has to by default right? Huge user base, and mostly 3rd person? Speaking of which you guys need to go to the Other M thread and look at the behind the scenes video I posted of the game! No one seems to care and it is awesome!

I don't want it to do better because everything we have seen so far tells me that it will be a worse game than any of the Prime games. It could end up surprising me, but I don't think it will even be a good game.
